I had some oral surgery done yesterday and I'm still out of it a bit. Will try to get a game thread up here before tip off!
I'd like to see some more energy out of the starting five.. or a DIFFERENT starting five, maybe? Our starting rotation has been horrible lately..

I expect a close game but yet another loss. The playoffs are currently slip sliding away. Durant needs some help. Consistent help. Four good games by Russ then a couple stinkers doesn't cut it. And it's even worse with Green. One good game and 6 bad ones.
Presti needs to pull the trigger on a big trade to get some legit help fr Durant.

The good news is that we're playing defense.. it's tougher to get consistent defensive play in this league than consistent offensive play.
Still holding out hope that James Harden can become consistent on offense also.

Melo's listed as doubtful for the game this evening.

I'm sick of this starting lineup. 30% from the field in the first six minutes.

Up six at half time, shooting 50% from the field but we've been real sloppy; thankfully, Denver's been sloppier. No offensive rebounds for Denver in the first half.
Have to keep up the effort on the defensive boards and get to the line more for easy points..

Fantastic 3rd quarter.. Denver really missed Melo, JR Smith hasn't been shy about shooting and their bigs have been having trouble finishing.
We've done our part though.. defense has been spot on most of the time, and we've only given up one offensive rebound (missed Kenyon Martin tip in) so far. Excellent work on the boards..
Kept the offense together in the 3rd too.. less sloppy, great showing.

Great defensive game.. Denver was unbelievably sloppy but I think our defense had something to do with it. Defensive rebounding was the key.. we beat Denver in the things we usually get beat at (turnovers, offensive boards).
Our offense was nicely balanced around another prime Kevin Durant effort. No real bad shooting nights for anyone except Maynor, who I thought was ineffective in this game (and has been underwhelming for the last few).
Nice win..

Finally got a chance to watch the game. Nice over all defensive effort. I'm sure it made things easier with no Melo.
None the less these are the kind of games the Thunder should win. And for some reason this season when a team is missing a star player the Thunder have struggled.
Let's hope they continue the good play against GSW.
Presti still needs to make a trade.
