cant think of a trade that makes sense for both sies on this one

Joel Pryz and Webster for Collison

Joel has a chance of not playing all of next season and his contract would become expiring, with Insurance paying up to 80% of it or something like that.

no reason for OKC to do that. Collison is an expiring as well. And Webster has negative value because of the dumb contract extension KP gave him

we need a big who can defend and rebound. Obviously you aren't going to trade Oden, so only guys who are left are Camby and Pryzbilla. I don't think our GM tried to trade for Camby so that leaves Pryzbilla. I like him a lot but his injury really worries me. Maybe Collison for Pryzbilla and a couple draft picks.

Joel's injury should worry you, he isn't playing for a long long time. The saving grace to his contract is that it's an expiring and it's 80% covered by insurance (unless by some miracle he comes back to play next season). Portland would get much better value sending him to a cash strapped team than a team who could use him if he were healthy.

Entertaining game but still frustrating for OKC fans because we couldn't score to close out a game which is a familiary tune. It was nice to see them come back a few times though.

Durant kept us alive for most of the game but got no help on offense from Russ / Harden / Green (after the half). Lots of open threes missed.

Real downer, especially since the Spurs are beating Boston.

Hopefully this stops the anti-Portland hate threads by some OKC fans for awhile...

DF5992... let it go man. The Blazers get to puff their chest until these 2 teams meet again.

It's funny to hear OKC fans raggin on Brooks for the Durant iso's late in the game. Portland fans do the same thing with Nate for the Roy iso's late in the game that stop the flow of the game and when Portland typically gives away the lead. Glad it didn't happen tonight! I didn't get to see much of the game, but listened to most of it. Sounded like an entertaining gam for sure. I'd like to say good luck the rest of the way, but I just can't so I'll just say... stay healthy the rest of the season instead.

Who are you and what is your problem? Grow the **** up. 90% of us aren't even aware of the "anti-Portland hate threads". We have more important stuff to do.

Anyway, I'm impressed with Batum, he's like Thabo on defense with more potential on offense. He's the ideal type of player the Blazers need around Roy and Oden. Not a fan of LaMarcus though, too much jumpshooting, kinda like Jeff Green. Not saying they're similar, Jeff is a jack of all trades, master of none.

Good game guys. OKC could've very easily won this, but fortunately, Portland managed to pull out the W. The Thunder have unlimited potential and could soon be one of the elite teams in the west. If Portland follows suit, we could be in for a decent rivalry.

Haha, true. Well as many of you OKC fans know, a lot of people here in the northwest are still disgruntled about the departure of the Sonics, but I tend to leave the past in the past. Everything considered, OKC has been a great basketball city whenever it has had a team (whether it be the Hornets or Thunder) and while Seattle fans have been understandably upset to lose their team, I have always thought that OKC has been a great basketball city. Regardless of typical politics that surround everyday life, I believe that OKC has shown that they're a great NBA city and deserve an NBA team. As for Seattle fans, they needn't worry too much, they'll get another team at some point IMO.

It really is too bad the Sonics aren't still up in Seattle cuz I think there would be a serious rivalry going between these 2 teams. Those games back in the late 80's and early 90's were classics! With the Thunder now in OKC, I just don't see the rivalry getting back to where it once was. Frankly, I think the rivalry only really exists because of the Oden/Durant debate.

I love both teams though; however, I only root for Portland (hahaha). Here's hoping to some great basketball games between these two teams over the next ten years!
