I think Bosh's extension starts at 16ish and goes up to 20ish..
Whether more or not.....if Green gets 7-9mm, and you have a different starter playing in front of him, you have some serious dough locked up at the PF position whether its in the form of a max player or two non-max but very good players.
Every great team in the league has 2+ max players. Why do you think OKC couldn't do the same? Durant + Bosh + Westbrook, Thabo, and Ibaka is a monstrously good lineup. Its Dynastyville.
Do you honestly prefer Green to Bosh? Or Green + whoever you get at PF in front of him to Bosh???
Dude Bosh's extenstion starts at $17,149,243.
year 2 $18,637,400.
year 3 $20,240,216.
year 4 $21,980,875.
year 5 $23,871,230.
Now do you see those numbers? THAT IS SIMPLY OVERPAYING FOR BOSH!
Bosh at 12-14mil? Sure sign me up. Bosh at 20+mil no way you are simply nuts.
So in three years like I said before even if Green is grossly over paid he and ibaka are a freakin bargain compared to Bosh. Bosh to OKC is and has been the dumbest rumor for the last two seasons on this board. It's not going to happen.
Every great team has two max players huh? Who is the second max player for the Spurs? Both Parker and "The Nose" have nice contracts but they are not max contracts.
