What is Presti's contract status?

There is a news article saying the Blazers are doing checks on him as potential replacement to their current GM.

Now that would be some funny crap.

After hearing all the Blazer fans talk sheeet about Prichard being a better GM than Presti, to then see Presti replace Pritchard would almost be worth seeing him go.

No way does Bennett let Presti speak to the Blazers.

Id cry myself to sleep if that happened. We won't find a better GM if he left, and for him to go to Portland?. .............................

It'd be hilarious if Presti left and we got Pritchard. Can you imagine the threads on RealGM? Both fanbases would implode.

Sam Presti interviewed in Seattle for the Blazers' GM job, according to the New York Post...

Sam Presti says it's not true.

Anyway, Sam Presti was hired on June 7th 2007. Yesterday was exactly three years. I'm not sure how GM contracts and stuff work but I wonder if that's a coincidence, maybe Presti isn't signed for next year yet? I'd hope so...

I might be thinking outside the box here but this probably got leaked by him or his agent to get a new, bigger contract. Worked for John Calipari after rumors of him going to Chicago which made Kentucky panic.

Does anyone know how long he was initially signed for? I can't find anything online.

Yea for some reason I can't find it anywhere either. :x Bennett hired him in 2007, I'm guessing its either a 3 year or 4 year contract.

I think it was 3 years with an option for a 4th year.
