Draft: D. Cousins/L. Stephenson/euro
Starting lineup:
Westbrook
Sefolosha
Durant
Ibaka
Cousins
Backup:
Maynor-Stephenson-Gomes-Collison-Kristic-Mullins-White

Breaking it down as a Wolves fan, other Wolves fans may disagree:

Gomes = Green. Green is due for a new contract, and to be honest, his production is close to Gomes. Gomes contract is partially guaranteed and we will be looking to move him, or drop him for cap savings.

#4 > Harden. I know you guys like him and see loads of potential, but personally I think it would be a mistake to trade away the #4 for him. I personally hope we pick Cousins and trade down to get Johnson and some assets. But I think Cousins alone has a higher upside than Harden. I won't be heartbroken if they draft and keep Cousins, it just means that we'll have to move someone else.

The other sweeteners just don't interest me as it can be such a crap shoot with those late picks.

Horrible trade, and I'm not big on Stephenson. Plus what would Minny do with all of those picks anyway.

Horrible trade? You might not like it but if you break it down it is not bad.

Gomes for Green isn't terrible considering how much Green will cost compared to Gomes. Gomes is decent bench depth and Jeff Green should be on the bench anyway.

Harden for Cousins is a no brainer. And the salaries come close to matching so we'd still have cap space after this. Acquiring someone like Cousins and still having cap space - that'd be huge.

If anything this is a horrible trade for the Timberwolves. Green isn't worth a lot to them because he will be due for an extension so soon, the picks aren't worth much to them, and DeMarcus Cousins has a lot more value than James Harden.

The man has a point. I wouldn't do this from the Timberwolves perspective.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.
