He probably drafted him for character, and community work. Must be a great guy. Draftexpress didn't even have him in their database.

I've seen him play in person at FSU. He's a scrub.

A high lottery pick in a couple of years? Whether it's the Clips pick or Minny's pick, it should be a good one when protection wears off (assuming it is protected in the first place). I think it's a great move because in a few years it will be known who the busts and the keepers are, and a good lottery pick in say... 2013 could be a very valuable asset.

Oh, and why all the Whiteside hate? I thought he was a decent prospect. Just curious.

I think I'm just going to trust Presti's judgment over yours. Sorry

Geez, slow down OKC your leaving nothing for anybody else. Geez you guys raped in the draft. Then you make a trade with LAC for a 1st round pick, if all goes to plan they'll fail once again and you guys are the second best team int he west with a lottery pick. If your owner has deep pockets adn your management continues to make smart decisions the league is in trouble.

Moving up to get Aldrich was a stroke of genius by Sam Presti IMO, i believe he will eventually be this team's starting centre for years
