We have James Harden on the perimeter being left wide open half the time on KD / RW drives but he doesn't get the ball save but once (he made it). We have a athletic forwards who barely move without the ball except to set screens for Durant. We have a couple decent finishing big men, but we never run a pick and roll.

Defensively, since Ron Adams left, it looks just like the offense. There's a lack of communication on pick and rolls, the bigs and guards get mixed up on when to switch and when not to switch. There's no understanding about who do go under the screen for (Rondo) and who to fight through the screen for (Robinson). It's just a mess.

We'll make some runs in a game like this because of the talent of Durant and Westbrook but this team isn't playing like an NBA coached team right now. It's pretty much all being shot from the hip. There doesn't look like there's anything new or anything being run better than last season after another offseason of work. It's really early and maybe I'm overreacting, but I'm slowly losing faith in Brooks' ability to implement effective gameplans for this team. It's no coincidence IMO that our defense took a huge hit functionally with the departure of Ron Adams.

I couldnt have said it better, I really see it the same way. There is no structure on offense or defense and either we need a good coach or a good point guard who can lead a team (like Billups).
I love bith Brooks and Westbrook, but one of them needs to go.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Brooks needs to make some lineup changes and get another ball handler on the court. Thabo is a PF in a SF Body. He can't shoot, dribble , pass or anything a guard can do. He should move to be Durants backup. The offense sucks because we can't shoot. We are shooting 19% from 3 pointer. Thunder need to let the shooters get those open looks since they have a better chance of knocking them down. The thunder don't need to have Thabo taking 5 shots a game where he will be lucky to hit rim. Those shots could go to Cook or Harden and if they make 1 they might get in a rythm and get hot. Brooks is starting to get me angry with this Thabo guy. I want to cut the tv off everytime i see him on the court.

Harden plays good enough defense to get the start soon
