Rose is as silent as a mouse. And generally respectful of refs too. Apparently, that means no FTs for him. Plus he is silky smooth, and his ability to not get knocked off line (virtually ever) means refs assume he wasn't hit. He's very strong. Stronger than he looks.

I'm OK with young player growing pains but the lack of identity for this team really bothers me.

nah refs tried to give this game to u guys. 31-17 FT advantage for thunder in chicago.

You're the 129484847th fan coming over just to tell us that. It's called having the ability to get to the free throw line.

It's one thing if the Bulls are getting screwed by the refs while they are on the road, but at home? No sir. The Bulls have the ability to get to the free throw line, it's just the refs ability to swallow the whistle when the Bulls draw contact that pisses us off. Rose will need to go "all thuggish" to get calls for him, which sucks because Rose is the kind of person the NBA needs more of.

But hey, outside of the Rockets, the Thunder are a pretty good team at flopping.

Was watching a bulls game earlier in the year and I remember them saying that Rose said he can't palm the ball very well. Which is probably while he has those 2 amazing 2 handed dunks against the Knicks and Suns.

See that's what I mean, only two of them.

I tweeted Ric Bucher and he stated the fact that the refs get caught up in the moment the same as the fans. Also, Rose is very strong and has great body control so it sometimes seems as if he goes untouched. Oh ya, he doesn't bitch and moan like alot of the superstars in the league.

I remember Jordan getting to the line a boatload. The refs didn't get caught up in the moment with Jordan.

I think you are right man the refs hate you guys. Looks like Rose is going to have to go all thuggish if he wants to get to the line like Durant and Westbrook do. Those two are total thugs.

Is it just me but didn't Jordan have the most amazing body control and he still got to the line at will?

Personally I think Rose is soft and doesn't like contact. But hey that's just me. I'm sure it's the refs fault.

This is the thing, DRose has the mentality to score when he goes inside the paint area. Other players are just looking for the foul. I have seen plenty of times when other players go inside, and then exaggerate the hit and end up taking a circus shot. This is not Rose's type of game.

And like others said, DRose has excellent body control. It's hard telling if he just got fouled or just touched. That being said, we have also seen him go to the floor plenty of times, and refs still don't call it sometimes. All in all, there has been waaaay too many times when bulls fans have said to themselves, "How was not a foul?!" Lately, we have even seen Rose get angry at the refs, showing emotion and yelling at them to the point where he probably should have gotten some technicals... But after the hit, he doesn't really talk to the refs, he just keeps playing and lets it go.

Is he soft? Maybe a little bit compared to other players... But he's not soft to the point where he is scared to drive in (he always does that).

Regardless of the reason if Rose ever does start getting to the line like the other top 10 superstars in the league, watch out!

I didn't read all the posts in here but i wanted to make a quick point about rose and not getting to the line.
Thing i'v noticed is Rose doesn't attack the rim like Westbrook, meaning rose would rather weave in and out of defenders, double clutch and avoid the contact to put up a shot, like the reverses. He also loves that little jump stop floater/runner (whatever you call it) in the lane 5-10 feet out and 90% of the time no one is going to foul that shot.
