Jeff Green's reaction to the Buzzer beater?

Post#1 » by Clangus » Sun Jan 23, 2011 1:04 pm

I cant find a clip of it, but did anyone see it?

After the initial hug, Green was standing back while everyone was crowding KD and he seriously looked pissed off or depressed. Not the face of a man who's team has just stolen a game at home.

I am starting to think Greens attitude has slipped a bit. And playing only 20ish minutes tonight might have made him worse?

Thoughts?

Did anyone see that?

Haven't liked his attitude all season. Don't understand how people can criticize someone like Durant for his lack of competitive fire in some games and support Jeff Green. He's been sleep walking through the entire season.

I didn't think the criticism of Durant was widespread. Didn't manage to catch the game today but over here where i live they don't really show much in term of pre and post game anyway.

He can't be sleep-walking through the games considering the amount of shots he's taking. From that pictures he looked like of disinterested, Collison was behind as well, was your video able to show him smiling or anything? I think his attitude did slipped recently though, saw a few times whereby he didn't even move towards the ball and try to rebound.

It is hard to expect a guy who is in a contract year n' limbo to be all there. Jeff has not had a good season which is not good for his contract next season. Hopefully the issue will be resolved and he will sign a multi-year deal at a decent price.

I would believe such a player in contract limbo would try to be in hero mode and try taking more shots,go out of his way to grab rebound (more reckless play), but so far he hasn't really stepped it up on the rebounding side of the game. Something like the Chandlers are doing over at New York/Dallas.

Not sure what we can infer from his lack of celebration. If he wasn't happy to win with a buzzer beater cause his minutes was just around 30mins, that doesn't sounds like someone who would be pleased to come off the bench.

Could be over-reading though.

I haven't actually noticed the lack of effort on his part but this makes me think maybe that's just me not paying attention

weird

Mo Pete looks euphoric next to him

Word is KD and Green have a bet for first player to have a walk-off. This was Durant's first.

Yeah not KD's first, but its a bit of a worry - Brooks might think that is a winning play from now on. :(

He can (and will) get his extension this summer though (like KD got his)
