Of course we used Krstic wrong, he played almost all of his minutes next to Jeff Green. The Krstic - Green C / PF pairing was the stupidest thing.

Now, before the trade, it was wrong but looking back it probably help the team grow more as we were outmatched inside. In a weird sort of what we have to compensate for that so the team played more. I seemed to notice that Westbrook rebounding has dropped lately. So has thabo's.'could be due to durant, ibaka number going up though. But at least we know those 2 can grab rebound if we need to.

For the price we paid for him, he wasn't that bad.

Devilanche wrote:Probably. He mentioned we didn't use him more in the post. For a player whose main contribution is on the offensive end, he probably deserve more chance. I remember one game whereby he was effective in the post in the first quarter. We stopped going to him the rest of the game.

For the price he'll be extended at and the fact that he's 7 ft. We'll probably miss him more than green. Considering that green best position is sf and we have mr close to 40 mins durant there.

It's funny that you mention post play. Krstic is more or less play smart cerebral bball. Hes finding open spots and his teammates are finding him. He's not really doing anything but taking advantage of being on an unselfish basketball team. He was impressive in those double double games though.

But, Greens post play has really been the great thing for us. Green has been able to play SF primarily with us. He has been posting up nearly every wing that covers him and having good success. He shoots the ball nearly 4 times less per game and play 15 minutes less. But his points are only down 4 points per and his percentages are up across the board. He has been absolutely money from the corner for 3. He's pretty good but I don't think he would ever have a chance to shine behind Durant.

I'm not surprised Green is doing okay when the only thing he has to do is score. Doesn't seem like he's doing anything else for you guys. It's his dream scenario. Shoot, shoot, shoot, don't worry about rebounding, defense, etc...

I was suitably impressed as well, i don't think anyone of us here knew krstic could do that much rebounding.

For green it really depends if you guys can resign him for the right amount. He does score well, but when i had looked at some celtics games recently, his rebounding still seem the same against other SF.

yeah, Green hasn't been impressive at all. I would think that he would be able to do more than just score the ball since he's the number one option on the second team.

Krstic on the other hand has been pretty impressive for me, but a lot of it has to do with their system

Well green has been active in the team defense and has made some good plays. Regarding rebounding, he blocks out. But his rebounding numbers for a SF off the bench are decent. The only time Green has played PF for us was when Baby was out and we did it against a smaller team like GS etc. So I would say his rebounding would be bad if we were expecting him to play PF. But He will play very few min there unless he has a good matchup. You guys played him out of position for 3+ years because of Durant and he was paired up with Nenad who certainly isn't a defensive anchor.

As far as resigning him , Should be interesting. Celtics use pretty good leverage with their RFAs. Not afraid to let players shop themselves. Doubt he gets more than 7-8 mil per on open market. Especially with the CBA up in the air.

That's a very good start to play him. PF minutes only when matchup allows. His offence/defence shouldn't be a problem since he come off the bench. I think he did play SF for a while when Durant was played at SG. PF the whole time after that though.

Your front office isn't the sort to overpay into a bad contract, just need to see how desperate some other teams are.
