17 games left

Post#1 » by dream_catcher_9 » Mon Mar 14, 2011 7:28 pm

Anyone want to make a prediction?

@ Washington b2b, still should be an easy win
@ Miami tough game, but I think we win this game for our 1st signature win, just a hunch
vs Charlotte trap game, ill say 50/50
vs Toronto should be a win
vs Utah they are in disarray, should be another win
vs Minnesota should be another win
vs Portland tough one, 50/50
vs Golden State they aren't bad but we are at home so we should win
@ Phoenix b2b, I think we lose as they have revenge on their mind
@ Portland another 50/50 game, winner of the first meeting probably loses this one
@ LA Clippers b2b, they are tough at home, id say 50/50 we may overlook them
@ Denver they are special at home, so id say a loss
vs LA Clippers b2b, a easy win, unless we beat them at their place, then it would be tougher
vs Denver close win for a split
@ LA Lakers we don't want to get swept, so I think we come out hard and get the W
@ Sacramento b2b, I think we win this game
vs Milwaukee they will be fighting for a playoff spot most likely, still its our last game, we win.

add it all up and I think we go................. 12-5, for a final record of 54-28. We will get the 4th seed and HCA for the 1st round. 11-6 is also a possibility if we slip up which would have us at 53-29 which is still good.

12-5 sound realistic, but I say we win the next 5-6 and finish with 13-4, which gives us 55 wins for the season and more importantly the MOMENTUM for the playoffs.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but while we are here we might as well dance!

Doesn't seem that we can get 3rd seed. So doesn't really matter what's our record so long as we got that 4th seed. Hope to see our 3 point defence though. Apparently durant say now doesn't need to overhelp on defence.

We are now only 2 and a half games behind the slumping Mavs. We might be able to catch them if we finish up around 10-4 or 11-3.

The most intriguing games imo:

Portland
GSW
Lakers
Denver.

I think this run can tell us if how good we are for a playoffs run.

Man I almost want to change my vote to 15 and 2 but I'll still stick with the 14-3 prediction.

I actually think the Thunder beat the Lakers in LA this next game. They need to for their own mental sake and knowing that they can win in LA.

Dang. I've already been wrong 3 times. I had them at 7-2 the last 9, they went 8-1

So I guess they have to go 4-4 in the next 8 to make my prediction.

I thought the Thunder might lose to the Heat but I expected them to beat Toronto but so far I'm doing pretty well. This last stretch I expect them to beat the Lakers but I can see them drop a game against Den or the Clips.

Thanks Slick and I even did it all without advanced stats lol.

I'd like to pound my chest but honestly there are two more games left and it's not really too big of a stretch for this young team to beat LA then come out a little lazy against Sacramento.
