Did I got it right? Do you agree with me about Westbrook?

Seems like Westbrook develop as a player this Memphis Grizzlies.

He was too high on his regular season performance, so I think he could take over every series. He's not used to be this good and overrated his abilities. But he's not a chuck and he's not a ball hog, He just don't know how to administrate ball possession. It's not like he is not a willing passer. He just don't have the court awareness imo.

I'm glad he took tons of criticism this playoffs. What I'm seeing is himself trying to see what can other people do. He tried to involve even Sefolosha and Perkins but he found in Harden a great player. I'm certain that he knew Harden was good. But not that close to himself and Durant. He's no Sefolosha. He's smart. He started to respect James Harden ability to make plays and to administrate posessions.

I saw him clearly spacing the floor for a Harden isolation last game a couple of times. People were surprised how much passing ability he has. Look how good he is, he has skills, athleticism and role player mind. He found out how good he was now, and now he must have found out how to apply this to a team. Once he put this together and there's no ceiling for him.

Don't get me wrong. Scott Brooks has nothing to do with it. IMO Westbrook evolved. But if he didn't get to the playoffs prepared and had freedom to go out and play whatever he wants to, it's Brooks fault. Brooks is only a motivator and lockeroom guy. This is why he become a coach. He must have been such a great locker room guy. Indigene villages from Brazil used to have leaders in past. They were called Caciques. Their role was not to command or control. They were not bosses but the front guy on a war that dies at battle but motivate his guys. Scott Brooks is a Cacique, not a Coach.

in all the criticism i see and hear about russell, no one in the media has ever brought up that westy has been a pg for exactly 3 years,,,,that he has had to learn on the fly and under nba fire,,,,that his #4 draft was somewhat of a surprise and certainly his ability or lack thereof as a pg was in question. that he certainly doesn't have the years of pg experience as rose, who was an elite pg from his days at simeon.

he is a work in progress, and the fact that he can be such an impact pg at the nba level on virtually pure raw talent is amazing.

dude was a back up PG @ UCLA, behind Collison. He didnt even get offered a scholarship, it was only after farmar decided to enter the draft that Howland gave it to him.

once he learns how to pick quality shots, he and Durant will be scary if they arent already.
