Would you guys have traded Ibaka for Perkins and a couple of picks?

Lebron made it to the finals with that cleveland team.

Bird would have won 4 rings with that team, in this weak ass era of basketball.

No that would have still left us with Jeff Green at Power Forward.
The trade we did was easily the best for us.

ibaka is going to blow up next year and contend for the MIP with,,,,,,,,,,,,WESTY!!
in the meantime you'll forget all about green, if you haven't already.

2012 MIP voting....
1...westy/ibaka
2...harden

okc hasn't even begun yet.

What will Westbrook do to win MIP? 30/10/8 at 55% TS?

Ibaka and Harden will contend for sure. I think Harden will come up with 18/5/5 at 60% TS and Ibaka will come up with 14/10/3 at 60% FG.

Be a point guard. Shows that he can average 9 assists. The whole world will be shocked.

I think those targets are overly ambitious. Might happen but won't be on all 3. That's like 62 points and we havent even consider durant dropping 25ppg.

west won't drop 30/10/8 I was kidding. He might drop something like 20/7/4. He'll take less shots and USG might go down. He'll be a rich man's tony parker.

He put up 22/8/5/2 this year. I don't see him dropping off in all three categories

His usage should go down, so his scoring should also at least a bit. In part due to fewer attempts. Assist rate may go down if Harden is handling the ball some. Rebounding was down in the second half of the year for obvious reasons. It's possible. Maybe even beneficial, depending on where the leftover opportunities go.

Hopefully Harden starts and if that happenes, I'd like to see Westbrook have a line closer to 16-18pts, 5rebs, 10dimes, 2thefts with a lot less turnovers.

I'd prefer for Westbrook create for others than force the offense.

He's young this team is still evolving, he'll get it.

I can't see Westbrook record 8+ apg when his usg rating falls, if he can't handle the pick and roll, I think most people would be fine if Harden run the pick and roll and West handle the pick and pop/post up smaller guards. Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if Westbrook comes up with less apg than 7.

I'm not sure what comes next, but if Scott Brooks has just little capability, he'll balance Harden and Westbrook activity.
