Charley Rosen's idea Grizz-OKC

Rosen gives analysis on the moves Oklahoma should made. His main idea is getting rid of Westbrook and proposes that Oklahoma gets Marc Gasol.

What do you thing about the grizz signing and trading Marc + Conley for Westbrook + Perkins?

It's a terrible idea. Westbrook is by far the best player in the trade.

Only if the Thunder are convinced that Westbrook will end up more akin to Steve Francis than Deron Williams/Chris Paul.

Ironic, isn't it? Fans have spent all post season disparaging Westbrook's skill and intellect, yet it seems the majority of them are interested in the possibility of landing him through a trade.

as a grizz fan i will admit that i hate the thunder & westbrook with a passion. however i am not blind, unlike a lot of the super homer grizz fans i do think RW is pretty awesome as a player and i would do this deal in a heartbeat. i would hate to lose marc because he is so unselfish and plays a great high post with zbo, but westbrook is a stud.

realistically i know OKC would never do this, but i do think that a lineup of
Conley
Harden
KD
Ibaka
Gasol
is pretty sick, imagine KD being able to play off a guy that can demand a double team in the post. Harden and Conley spotting up and KD wreaking havoc on cuts and uncontested jumpers would be nasty. thats the only plus for OKC is that Durant would be the unquestioned leader of the team and the absolute number 1 option offensively. with ibakas developing offensive game it would be a really good lineup.

but like i said you dont trade a 21yr old all nba player, unless hes stephon marbury

Does Westbrook have an infantile mind?

if i was memphis i wouldn't do this.

gay is going to come back and why have another self absorbed "star" keep memphis from moving forward. marc is too important, perkins is overrated, conley is average but slightly getting better.

not trolling, just wondered by.

I agree with clockwork.

Gasol means too much to that team. It wouldn't be the same with Perkins.
