I agree, but the problem with OKC when it comes to Ibaka and Perkins is that Ibaka averaged 7.5 rebounds and Perkins averaged 6.6 rebounds. Meanwhile Durant averaged 8.0 rebounds. There are guys at 6'10" like Ibaka and Perkins or shorter who have averaged way more rebounds than what they're putting up. What I'm saying is that Perkins and Ibaka are not really good rebounders for their size, especially the position they play.

I'm not sure how much of it is on them though. I think Durant/Thabo and Westbrook are probably amongst the better rebounder for their position. Though westbrook really shouldnt affect them much since his is more often than not offensive rebound (or at least those that i tend to remember). Of course there's always 2 ways to look at it, are their numbers bad cause they play with good rebounders at other position or do we have good rebounding numbers from other position cause they are so bad. Someone got to get some of those defensive rebound afterall.

Does anyone know how we rank as a defensive rebounding team? They do need to tighten things up on defensive rebounding.

note: both of them play around 25-30mins per game too while durant is probably more than 32mins.

Well, this is not anything new with Ibaka and Perkins in terms what they do year-by-year. Perkins has a 6.2 rebounding average for his career and Ibaka has a 6.9 rebounding average for his career as well. So far none of them have been big rebounders in their career.

And OKC is 23rd on their defensive rebounding rate:

23rd is brutally bad. Yet, we're 10th in offensive rebound, guess the guys just got to work harder on the defensive end.
