Celtics trade Kevin Garnett to Thunder
Thunder trade Kendrick Perkins, Jeremy Lamb and the Pick they are owed by Dallas (it like top 15 protected until 2016) to Boston.
Why for the Thunder. Garnett is a proven playoff warrior. He can do everything and more that Perkins can do on offense and be much much more productive on offense. Thunder get out from under Perkins contract.
Why for Boston. Simple gathering of assets. Lamb barely played last season by has potential. The Dallas is a pick. Perkins is friends with Rondo.
Note. KG has a no trade clause he will likely wave since he will be going to a contender and going to LAC has been blocked by Stern.
It seems like a win-win for both teams.

Re: Trade Idea - Boston
If KG was willing to waive his no trade clause I would make this trade with the knowledge that Garnett struggled more at center last season than the previous two, might require minutes management and doesn't provide a long term solution to the problem at center.

But OKC is in win now mode. Note the pick is NOT the Toronto pick.

I read you proposal clearly, did you read mine?
OKC is in improve now mode. They've already been winning.

Absolutely. I was just pointing out they could draft a big man with that better draft pick and have him mentored by KG.
