Just thought I'd post the link if anyone's interested, good read about the team philosophy/development/etc., along with reasoning for optimism/pessimism:

This is an i interesting read. But, the Harden trade is incomplete. The Thunder still have not used the Mav's first round pick, Martin was a known rental, we probably won't even see Adams this year, and we are just getting an understanding of what Lamb can be.

I feel like no one understands the Thunder need to keep doing this. If they want to keep Ibaka when his deal is up he will need to take less money or he will be moved.

In 5 years Lamb and Adams could be starting for a Championship Team while Harden and Dwight will be in Chapter three of Dwightmare.

Presti has made one bad move drafting Cole Aldrich. Maybe canceling the Tyson Chandler trade too, but that is the doctors call. In 6 years one bad move. The Thunder are THE smallest market team in the league. Yet they sell out and are building a dynasty with two guys who are not even 25 years old yet.

By the end of Durant and Westbrook's career just about every team will be begging the Thunder to trade them guys like Jackson, Lamb, and Adams after third year in the league for Lottery picks. The Thunder just get it.

This is why I am a Fan of this team. It is a Team First motto, and i can get behind any move Sam Presti makes.

I echo each sentiment stated in your post. I hope RW and KD stick it out together and stick it to the big market teams. I'm also hoping that Lamb and PJ3 step up their games to replace the talent that left.

Wade is basically Ben Gordon without the 3-point shooting. Sure, he's been a pretty good defender this year, so that would upgrade, but I'd rather have Gordon because he's cheaper and can hit those threes
