Raptors Trade

Post#1 » by RapsGotThis » Wed Dec 11, 2013 5:09 am

Hi, raptors can here, as you probably already know we are looking to tank this year..... I have a trade scenario involving your team.........

Raps get: Lamb, 2014 first round (Dal), 2014 first round (OKC)
OKC get: DeRozan, Landry Fields and 2014 2nd round pick

For the raps, we are tanking so we get 2 picks in a deep draft and a young player with potential in Lamb... We also get rid of Landry fields horrible contract, and we get rid of DeRozan to help our tankin efforts......

For OKC they get DeRozan who is improving very well yearly, and putting up close to all-star stas, he can be like their new James Harden, this will help them get ahead of the other competitors and can help them win a championship.. They lose 2 deep picks, which is not very valuable to them as they are not rebuilding...

Would do you guys think?

1) we have a general trade thread for this
2) the salaries don't even come close to matching
3) ignoring that this trade doesn't work under the CBA, this would put OKC 15 million over the tax
4) fields is horrible
5) Lambs a better fit than Derozan, and Derozan sure as hell isnt worth all of that

So its a no from OKC

If I were a delirious Raps fan coming here to post this, I'd create a new account to save face as well.

Let the kid dream
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.
