Skilled and crafty down low, has range on his jumper, fluid in his movements, and can pass the ball. He looks NBA ready right now. Seems like he could have started over Perkins this season, which in and of itself would have been a huge addition. I'll definitely be following his progression in contrast to Adams going forward.

I kind of thought this during the draft too. Especially for a team that is trying to contend now, needs more bench scoring, and desperately needs to pry minutes away from Kendrick Perkins.

Chalky, I've largely disagreed with you in the past, but can't lie. I thought the same thing and wanted him draft night, only time will tell for sure but the kid looks legit.

Olynyk doesn't have the D that OKC needs. OKC doesn't need much offense when Durant and Westbrook are on the roster.

I disagree. I don't think he will be in the league for long. Remember he was a one year wonder. He needs to add a lot of weight to play with the big boys. He will get owned if he plays at all this season.

Knicks fan here

(i come in peace)

im going to have to disagree, i think Steven Adams fits better he has the NBA body + amazing work ethic.. he's raw for sure but already posses the physical tools that i feel will help him be an immediate contributor.

Ontop of that the defense potential is their with steven adamas and he can definitely rebound (two areas ollynk struggles in)

If Adams can develop a decent offense game, he can turn out to be a long term solution for you guys down low.

He can be a rotation player at the very least. I still prefer Adams from last draft though.

Nobody in the NBA is known for how tall they are barefoot. By NBA standards...he's as much 7-0 as anyone listed as 7-0.

And...yes...he was a STEAL in a draft where there's not lots of primo guys.

Olynyk was a steal? Based off what? Him destroying the Orlando Summer League? He hasn't done much against real competition in the NBA thus far. Too early to be calling anyone a 'steal' right now, IMO.

Adams thus far has been a better rebounder, defender, and a more efficient scorer. I'm glad we took Adams, but its pretty early in their careers. Hard to tell who will be better. I think Adams is a better fit for OKC though.
