the only reason I'm posting a youtube video is because I'm disabled & can't really type & my reasons are explained in the video.

While I see the reasoning, its a no go. OKC would most likely have to go into the tax, and they only need the extra PG till Russ returns. A FA signing or minor deal is what fits. The Raptors would be overly greedy/only want Lamb/RJ/Adams/picks in a deal, none of which are worth giving up for an expiring point guard who wouldn't start once Westbrook's back anyways. NO!

Nope. Jackson is the starter. The Thunder would have to trade Perk for Lowery and I don't think OKC has any interest in moving Perk no do other teams have interest taking him on.

I don't see why everyone is hitting the panic button.. Yes.. We lost arguably the best PG in the league for a couple weeks.. Good thing is, we still have a very good team even without him. We will drop some games we wouldn't have with Russ playing but that's how it is. We have seen how Presti operates and quite frankly, I am happy we won't trade one of our young emerging core players like Jackson or Lamb for a Lowry. RW will be back after the break and I am thinking positive and expecting him to be back as good as new, until then.. Let's let Jackson certify himself as a star, Lamb, Adams, Jones continue to build confidence and improve, let KD continue his campaign for his first MVP, and hopefully we don't have to see TOO much Fisher.
    PG: Westbrook/Jackson/Smith
    SG: Roberson/Morrow/Lamb
    SF: Durant/Jones/Lamb
    PF: Ibaka/Collison/McGary
    C: Adams/Perkins

This is a blessing in disguise.
The more experience Lamb and Jackson get, the more impressive this team is and the better our chances at winning a title. And the good news with Westbrook is this is all precautionary. There are ways they could have dealt with this that did not involve a surgery, but in order to fix it long term and not deal with another in-game injury, they are dealing with it now. Very smart thing to do.

This is a trade proposed on the Raptors board that a lot of us Raps fans would welcome:

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=n8uyhra

Of course, winning teams are always hesitant to mess with their chemistry, but this gives OKC a very solid two way big off the bench in Hansbrough, as well as Lowry, who's been on a tear lately and could be a very solid sixth man for the Thunder in the playoffs, perhaps playing some significant minutes alongside Westbrook. Novak could be useful as there aren't really any strech 4's that can help OKC off the bench. This also clears up capspace for OKC, as Lowry is expiring and Hansbrough's contract next year is non-guaranteed.

Don't like that Lowry will be a free agent next summer. Why risk trading for him now at the expense of losing Jackson and Jones when the Thunder could simply try to sign him during free agency?

I'm also against trading a center and not getting one back. Were gonna need Perkins if we play San Antonio, Houston, Indiana, or Memphis in the postseason.

If OKC was worried about clearing up cap space, they would just amnesty Perkins, instead of packaging him with good players for expirings.
