Wasnt exactly expecting RJ to be the starter for half the season but a bet is a bet, Side note Lamb got completely robbed for not being selected to the rising star game,

He at least responded with a good performance tonight. He and FISHER (of all people) lead the charge back

Jackson 13.2
Lamb 9.1
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Some very, very bad signs right now..

Dont understand how Lamb has gone from 20-25 minutes a game and doing well with RJ off the bench to essentially out of the lineup completely..

He does not look very pleased.. Did you see his effort for the last 2 minutes tonight? Cant blame the guy, but Brooks won't be doing him any favours if he doesn't work to get his minutes back..

We CANNOT not develop and have this guy become a big contributor for us, when he was the centre piece coming back for James Harden.. Take 5 minutes from Fish and Butler and 6 or 7 from Roberson/Jones and get this guy back on the court.

    SG: Roberson/Morrow/Lamb
    SF: Durant/Jones/Lamb
    PF: Ibaka/Collison/McGary
    C: Adams/Perkins

Agreed Brody, Butler IMO is basically doing what Lamb is/was supposed to do, he's just older and not athletic at all. I swear I really want someone to come out of the stands and tackle the dude next time he pulls up for 3. Fisher's at least playing well, but Butler is killing me. He's taking almost 6 per game, and doesn't do much of anything else.

I don't mind Butler, but I agree with some things Royce was talking about on Daily Thunder tonight..

Butler can do some things, but was HE really the best the Thunder could have done?

We pushed for Shumpert, who could have been a great fit imo. We should have pushed harder! Why not our 1st and Roberson for Shump who is essentially just a better version with at least some offense. Sometimes little moves like this can be the difference between a championship.

I also liked when he said, "Fishers minutes don't seem to be justified when he misses his 3's." I agree 100%.

On a side note.. I seriously can't wait to see what kind of numbers Westbrook will average next year with his restriction off.. He's going to go HAM.

Brooks is doing the right thing if Butler is outplaying Lamb, last 15 games of the season is time to stop developing and start working towards a championship. Lamb is still a major part of our future, but there comes a point during the season when that isn't the important thing. Next year Lamb will probably be either a starter or the sixth man, but it's time to put our best foot forward right now.

Also, lamb was playing like crap prior to the butler signing. In the previous 8 games he was shooting 32% and under 29% from 3
