So, for a minor distraction from offseason stuff, they're finally shooting well. PJ is lightin it up from looking at the box score, Roberson 4-5, McGary filling up the stat sheet too. Honestly, I feel better about PJ than Lamb now.....almost wish they'd start him and have a massively oversized SG.

Yeah I love PJ's game and potential. I hope he has a significant role going forward and stays in OKC long-term. He's probably the most versatile guy on the team. I think he can just about guard any position on the court. He's certainly athletic enough to stay with 2's and his length would give them a lot of problems. He's got a nice shooting stroke as well. He could be the 3&D guy we've been missing. Brooks seems to like playing him at the 3 and 4 though and knowing how stubborn he can be, I wouldn't expect to see him at the 2. A line-up of Westbrook/Jones/Durant/Ibaka/Adams would offer a tremendous amount of length and athleticism though and would be so fun to watch.

It's hard not to like McGary after the summer-league. He's just a baller and I love his attitude. Hopefully Scotty doesn't keep him on the bench all season because I think he deserves PT. Supposedly Charlotte was promising to take him at 24 so knowing he wouldn't have been available at 29 makes it even easier to feel good about the pick.

Keep in mind Lamb is being asked to be a number one option and create for himself as the only real scoring threat. How he plays in this role is pretty irrelevant.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Love the fact that McGary has been active on defense horizontally to get steals and vertically to get blocks. His steal numbers in NCAA were mind-blowing: 3.0 steals and 1.2 blocks per 40. He might even be a better player now than Adams.

The fact he wheights just as much as Dwight makes me love him even more. I really want to date him.
