I wonder if they ask Huestis to play overseas. Thought it was curious they took him in the first round.

I can't see him playing overseas. He has the control. They can either sign him or they lose their pick. Either way he plays in the d-league this year trying to get to the NBA.

As a wink-wink deal, I mean. Huestis could have easily not been drafted at all had the Thunder not taken him. Taking him 1st round to me means either the Thunder really wanted four guaranteed years of Huestis or he was willing to do a wink-wink deal for them in return for the first round selection.

Probably far-fetched.
