Seriously, I feel extremely bad for the Thunder fans. I have never seen or heard about anything like this. It's like the walking dead out there, half the roster is hurt. I hope that people can keep stepping up and that they win enough games so that it is possible for the team to still make a run at the playoffs once KD and Westbrook come back.

I mean, I see two outcomes here-

1.) You pull a 1996–97 Spurs, miss the playoffs, get a lottery pick, and come into next year as a championship contender with a top lottery talent.
2.) You pull a 2013-14 Spurs by playing all your non-stars and young potential a **** more than you usually would so that by the time the playoffs come around (which you manage to squeeze into in this scenario), you not only have KD and Russ ready but you have a roster with a lot more confidence and depth from all the playing time.

Unless I missed something? Obviously all scenarios involve plenty of luck and assumptions, but I see potentially enormous silver linings here.

I looked at it like #2, but it may require a massive run to even make the 8 seed. The potential growth by the young players on the roster could play huge if they are able to overcome this. It could be the most dangerous 8 seed of all time. At least this is what I am hoping for.

Thanks man, glad to have other fans drop by and wish health! Best to the Pistons as well.

I mean, I'm a Spurs fan more or less (generally I identify more to my general love/nerd-dom of the NBA and basketball than being a specific team fanboy tho) and there's nothing that bothers me more than this sort of thing. I want our rivalry to be under healthy 100% conditions, if one of us beats the other when players are injured or not 100% then people throw in asterisks. :(
Like last year I wanted to face an OKC Thunder with Serge Ibaka from Game 1, even if that means we potentially don't win or have a way harder time. It's just not the same when the teams don't have all their weapons. Wish you guys luck for real.

Every year it feels like there's more and more injury, but I guess that's just an illusion. What a rough start to the season for a lot of players though. At least D-Rose is still intact. *knock on wood* :(

I almost purchased league pass this year but backed out, not because Thunder have gone south with injuries, but this is my first year with Dish Network. Right now, on the free preview, all the games are in HD. But when I went to purchase, it says SD . I'm not paying $200 to watch blurry SD games.

You can still watch league pass broad band in hd via a roku or Apple tv.

Tell me more here , I just investigated the Roku, and found several versions. Do you get a lot of buffering ? Do you need to get their top of the line model?

LP broadband for $150 instead of $200, leaves $50 to put into the Roku for same as Dish LP in SD.

Is Roku the most popular streaming device ?

I appreciate any input here, this streaming is all new to me. But my daughter's are telling me they don't need cable cause they stream Netflix. I think this just may be the future, where we can pay for content we want, without paying for a bundle of programming.
