Still don't under-stand why people keep saying WB doesn't feed SA the ball?
:o

Its not really Westbrook that needs to do this, its Jackson.
Westbrook will feed anyone and Adams is still not to the level where we should demand he gets the ball more down low when with the starting unit, but he's quickly getting there.

Very few players in this league are efficient post options (league average FG% in the paint is below 40%). Adams has been pretty good on that short jumper/baby hook, out of 72 players with 50+ attempts 'In the paint' he is 16th in FG% at 45.8%. Only 4 of those players in front of him are bigs, D-Mo, Al Jefferson, Roy Hibbert and Kevin Seraphin (who is an absurd 32 of 41 on hook shots). His good/soft touch from 3-10 feet has carried over from the preseason.

All that said, with KD back today, there's very few situations where Adams should be posting up in our offense (only when mismatched etc)

What i want to see more is that little floater he has shown time and time again.
Much more effective than Perkins' floater that we see every game.

We need him to take his time and score consistently like he did in Toronto.

adams is great in the post, and significantly developing. Its a shame we don't go to him often, future HOF.

Im saving this thread in my predictions folder.
But mark my words, and ive been saying this all along but im going to make it officially official.
By mid to 3/4ths into next season, Adam's will have perfected that hook shot, his defense will have continued to improve and he will be talked about as a top 5 center in the NBA.
His averages will be 11-14ppg. 8-11rpg. 2-4 (yes 4)bpg. and he will not even top full time starter minutes (34).

10/10/2 is probably a top five center today.

Edit: okay, maybe not top five, but at least in the convo for fifth.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

If it's with elite defense, and either great passing or great scoring efficiency it's definitely pushing into the top 5 these days, see Bogut/Noah/Chandler
