Hopefully this is a sign for many great things to come. Come June, i would hope hes holding the finals mvp.

I couldn't be happier for Russ. Tonight was well-deserved. He's capable of winning regular season MVP's, as well as finals MVP's like you mentioned. I'd love to see him get a few of each before it's all said and done. I think he's the most exciting player to watch in basketball.

I'm also hoping he enters the dunk contest next year.

im not just a durant fan boy like i know half of these fair weather fans are. I support the entire team.

he is. Sorry for not sucking up to durant. Fact is, hes acting like a total d bag complaining to the media about non existent things. If russ did this, i would call him out for this too.

You obviously don't "support the entire team." And seeing how many times I've seen you call Durant a choker, you obviously haven't been a fan for more than a year.

Congrats to Russy. I see a lot of prime Kobe in Russ game. I don't understand why people continue to hate Russ. We should really appreciate his game as I think we are witnessing one of the greatest athletes to play Point Guard.There is no perfect player. Westbrook is big time and I fell in love with his style of play two years ago before he first got injured. Absolutely fearless and I don't know any other guy who put up 43 against Miami Heat in the finals and just last year he put up 40 and 10 against a very good spurs team. This guy plays so hard and fierce and I really hope him and KD get a ring one day.Russ is capable of getting triple doubles every night. If Westbrook can just knock down the 3 more consistently and KD play the defense that he is capable I think they will win it all one year even without Harden or strong third wheel.
