I really don't know why he would go after an unproven college coach at a time like this.

I've read some good things about him such as being a defensive coach and being big on analytics.

I hope Presti thought long and hard about this.

Because there no proven coaches on market.
Gentry is only who I think would be excellent coach. Mike Malone is very good defensive coach,but I don't think he is better than Donovan,or that his experience is huge.

Carlisle probably is not available,and TT right know is schooled by Jason Kidd.
Messina is not proven NBA coach,but I think he is better than Donovan.
Donovan will be just fine. He will be eager to succeed.
