Expansion Draft Project

This was done in October 14 before the trades. Theoretical expansion draft where you protected 8 and made 7 available for each team. Bondom34 resonded as follows

"I like it.

OKC:

Protected: Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka, Adams, Jackson, Morrow, McGary, Collison

Unprotected: Perkins, Jerrett, Telfair, Lamb, PJ III, Huestis

Huestis is only on the books as a cap hold (in D League). I'd debate flipping Collison for PJ or maybe Lamb."

Now we have a new improved roster, Introduced DJ, Singler, Kanter, Novak, Payne and Heustis and traded Perk, Jackson, Jerrett, Lamb and PJ3.

So with the current roster who would you protect and who would you make available? Its a bit harder now with a deeper roster

For me

Protect: KD, Russ, Serge, Adams, Kanter, Amo, Payne, McGary;
Unprotected: Singler - Like him but KD backup and not going to play a huge amount; Heustis: Easy, not going to play much; Collision: the hardest decision. Mr OKC but age and falling down the rotation; Novak - Unlikely to be there by the regular season; DJA - either DJ or Cam Payne and taking a gamble that Payne turns out to be all I expect him to be; Robes - This was tough, Robes is so effective but it came down to a choice between Robes and Amo; Dion - with his improved fitness this might be a dumb decision but based on last year and his inconsistency Dion is toast;

We literally have a thread one down from here. We're redoing it this year. Can still post a vote if you'd like :D.
