This is again the Reggie-Waiters-Oladipo move, they are gonna need to move out Kanter's deal the latest next summer and Joffrey is the new back-up, and he makes more sense in that role because he can spread the floor a bit more and they have another banger with McGary.

No one is taking Kanter out of your hands before the season starts so I guess the likely thing to happen is a minor move now, so you end up with 15 guys again (nowadays 16 with guaranteed deals) and unload a big, my guess is they try to move Singler+McGary or Huestis+McGary for maybe a guy and a 2nd round pick or something like that.
Then proceed to move Enes whenever his value rises due to anybody needing bigs, something that is not on board right now, or they actually need to unload him, next summer.
