Hmm well if Chris Paul in fact pulled his hamstring or hurt his hand, it may not matter whether we win or lose this game. The clippers will free fall down the standings until either cp3 or Blake return. They can't survive with them both out.

Do you Billy, just do you.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

If your team is 29th in the NBA in 3pt% on decent volume, you don't have shooters.

Abrines, morrow are the two reliable ones. Jerami grant and victor are the next best. After that it falls off a cliff.

Domas finally hit a 3. Thank god :P

I think it says we have the worst shooters in league... but I agree. We have no shooters!

We have no shooters, 3 centers of which one is great defensively while the other 2 are horrifically bad, two power forwards- one who's hit a massive rookie wall and the other a dinosaur, and a small forward rotation of Roberson/Grant/Singler, with the first two being great and good defensively but are woeful in offence.

So a few holes to fill.

Anyway, at least Donovan didn't play Russ at all in the fourth in a misguided attempt at coming back. Even with a CP3 and Blake-less clippers team, playing the 2nd night of a b2b without our only reliable defensive big man was going to be an issue.

But please basketball gods let Adams be ok for golden state. Please.

This game demonstrated our lack of roster fit. Once upon a time, Presti would go after great defenders with weak offensive game, but now we've got guys who can't do either.

I think we stopped one dribble penetration last night and contested maybe 2 shots at the rim. Adams or no Adams, back to back or not - this was an embarassing effort. I find it really troublesome that we just implode in games like this. We have nothing to fall back on. We can't defend, we can't score, we can't pass, we can't rebound. We basically turn into a D-League squad.

Your whole team looked completely lacking in energy. Westbrook spent a lot of offensive possessions just standing at one place with his hands on his knees well behind the 3 point line and that happened a lot as early as the first quarter.

Problem with the roster is maybe that Sam really thougth KD would resign and he would get Al Horford to sign. With those 2 suddenly the starting lineup looks pretty impressive.

We have some holes to fill and the more I think about it the less I think it can be fixed with 1 move.... I think Sam will need to do an overhaul without losing Westbrook and Adams.
