Too bad.

If we had played a good clean game and lost I would be more upset.

They also said that the Wiggins putback with 38.2 seconds remaining should have been and-1, which would have given the wolves an opportunity to make a 4 point lead. Plus they completely missed a 3 second illegal defense from George in Towns scoop shot with 9.4 seconds remaining (he stays in the paint without any man close from 18.6 to 14.1). Watch the final minute if you dont believe me.

Did you not take the time to read all 15 words I typed? I said OKC didn’t deserve to win.

Couldn't be happier with Felton and OKC's best lineup might be with him playing PG and letting Russ play the 2...whatever gets Roberson off the court. Our 100 million dollar man Adams has been outscored the last 2 games 44 to 26 (he gave up 27 to Towns in this game) but of course nobody will recognize that because he's an "excellent" defender...lol. I like Adams and he's playing well overall but this notion that he's some great defender just has no basis whatsoever and as I said last year he gets dominated all the time it's just that for some reason he's exempt from criticism. I expect through the 1st 15-20 games the Thunder will continue to get better offensively and get more into a flow so I'm not worried about losses right now but that one definitely hurt because they should have won. It was good to see Carmelo hit what should have been a game winning 3 and for the team to mount that comeback.

Every time you post you make it more and more obvious that you dont watch games but look at the boxscore and think you know what happened.
go watch the highlights of this game.. count how many times you see KAT actually score while Adams is guarding him. There was one play where Adams left his feet late in the game which was a bad move defensively against Towns. You could also say he didnt close out on KATs 3 pt attempts as quick as he should of (although KAT was 2-7 from deep). other than that KAT couldnt get anything going in the post 1 on 1 against Adams.

Adams also DOMINATED KAT on the boards. You know.. rebounding? that you love so much? the stat you love to use to defend Kanter? yea well Adams got 8 offensive ones. He also had a higher fg% than KAT... with less turnovers.

Adams also scored more points than PG and had more assists than Melo while leading both teams in blocked shots AND total rebounds.

But hey.. lets not concentrate on stats in this instance.. when it comes to Kanter sure, lets focus on them!.. but not with Adams.

I did see KAT hit a few nice hook shots over Adams and there was nothing he could do about it, but that is a really hard shot to guard for any center.

There are two gaping holes in Westbrook’s game which everyone else has to make up for. One of them he looks like he worked on in the offseason (3s). I hope he continues to hit 3s at the rate he is. But he hasn’t been very good at 3s in the past.

His other major flaw is his defensive effort. Sure, he sometimes breaks up a pass, but he doesn’t keep his hands up when he should and he under plays P&Rs far too often. Not sure if that is a coaching issue or a Westbrook issue.

Other than that, he does everything else fantastically well.

I’d also like to see less Melo and more Russ. Melo is 33-34(?) and he is a damn good ISO player but I would prefer him out on the wing a bit more hitting spot up jumpers. If he’s running with the second unit, give him the ball and get out of the way if you can’t find buckets, but we need to limit his usage and give Patterson some more reps.

We need to play faster as well. I think Melo is hurting our tempo on offense but I think that will be fixed over time. Hopefully.

All in all, these guys are just trying to gel. If they are playing like this in December or late November I’d be worried.

.

Adams did not play well against Utah but last night was excellent as he was against NY. Will be OKC's most improved this year.

LOL...exactly the response I expected. Just for fun I pulled the boxscores from last year's games with Minnesota and Anthony-Towns went for 33, 26, 29 and 26 all against Adams but yeah, points that an opposing player scores gives no indication whatsoever of the defense Adams is playing! LMAO. Look I'm not anti Adams by any means he's a good player and he's doing ok this year but this ridiculous mantra that has him being some sort of great defender is a complete joke. He gets lit up all the time and is an average defender at best.

I will just leave this here.. you probably dont understand it though...

What if grant had a train wreck offensive game like Roberson last night? What would you all have said? While most have at least acknowledged he was beyond awful (it was embarrassing), and a select few are in denial of even that (Not sure how, that's about as bad as someone can play offensively), itd be so hypocritical on here if that was grant.

Serious question here; Why the hell does the NBA share this stuff? What is the point? “Hey everyone, your team lost in part because the refs blew some calls in the last two minutes......anyway.........have a nice day!”

Good game guys. Just want to clarify something, Thibs didn't call timeout. Wiggins and others have said he was yelling that they didn't have any timeouts and he called an inbounds play.
