I never understanded K.Perkins minutes back in the day. Now this Robertson thing..

He's really bad on offense. So he's suppose to be pretty good/great defender to compansate. But he is not great on D.
He's no Tony Allen or M.Smart-J.Crowder.
He has tools to defend forwards but he's not that good defender to compansate other areas of the game. He cant defend guards anyway. His contract doesnt look good at all.

Oh boy...get ready because they're going to start coming after you. Perkins averaged almost 30 minutes per game for one reason...because Sam Presti wasted 9.3 million/year on him and if Perkins didn't start and play that much he would have looked like a complete idiot. Presti forced Scott Brooks to play him that much. There's no coach in their right mind that would have started Perkins at the level he was playing when he was in OKC which wasn't even remotely close to his best years in Boston. When Perkins left OKC he never got off the bench hardly at all and now was out of the NBA after a couple of years because he sucks. Now it's the same thing with Roberson. There's no other team that would start him and it was clear in free agency that no teams wanted him because he's too much of an offensive liability and as good as he is defensively the good/great players have absolutely no trouble scoring on him at will. There's a reason none of the upper echelon teams have anybody even remotely resembling Roberson.

Stay on topic. You want to make another thread bashing on Roberson or make another post in one of the general boards, be my guest. Every thread should not become this argument.

The whole point of this thread is that Jeremy Lamb should have been kept instead of Roberson.

Then make a thread that says it's about Roberson instead of bait-and-switching. Or bring back one of the old ones that you've made instead of clogging up the front page with another thread that's more of the same thing.

Look, I've probably been letting this slide more than I should. I should have said something at the very beginning of the thread. Literally every thread you post in you're posting about how Roberson is the worst player in the NBA, etc., etc., etc. If you have basketball opinions outside of your favorite punching bag I'd be delighted to hear them, but when you've spent your entire online career getting banned from every single Thunder forum in existence because it is literally the only thing you can talk about, maybe that's a sign that you should take up another hobby.

I'm not saying don't ever talk about Roberson. I'm saying maybe—just maybe—at some point you could consider having and posting a basketball opinion that doesn't eventually boil down to "Andre Roberson sucks and I hate him". It's either an obsession or an elaborate troll. Or you're secretly Jim Traber.

There's space for plenty of opinions on the board, including everything from "Andre Roberson sucks" to "Andre Roberson is good". But posting the same thing over and over and over again in different permutations is insanity.

I got banned from "Loud City" (them and Real GM are the only 2 places I've ever posted anything outside of Newsok) and I never once personally attacked anybody there or said anything rude or vulgar and they never explained why. You're right I've definitely overdone the Roberson thing but to me it's the elephant in the room the same way Perkins was. I just want what's best for the team and it's frustrating to watch the same mistakes being made. Tell you what though I'll work on it because it has been excessive.
