I never understanded K.Perkins minutes back in the day. Now this Robertson thing..
He's really bad on offense. So he's suppose to be pretty good/great defender to compansate. But he is not great on D.
He's no Tony Allen or M.Smart-J.Crowder.
He has tools to defend forwards but he's not that good defender to compansate other areas of the game. He cant defend guards anyway. His contract doesnt look good at all.
Oh boy...get ready because they're going to start coming after you. Perkins averaged almost 30 minutes per game for one reason...because Sam Presti wasted 9.3 million/year on him and if Perkins didn't start and play that much he would have looked like a complete idiot. Presti forced Scott Brooks to play him that much. There's no coach in their right mind that would have started Perkins at the level he was playing when he was in OKC which wasn't even remotely close to his best years in Boston. When Perkins left OKC he never got off the bench hardly at all and now was out of the NBA after a couple of years because he sucks. Now it's the same thing with Roberson. There's no other team that would start him and it was clear in free agency that no teams wanted him because he's too much of an offensive liability and as good as he is defensively the good/great players have absolutely no trouble scoring on him at will. There's a reason none of the upper echelon teams have anybody even remotely resembling Roberson.
Stay on topic. You want to make another thread bashing on Roberson or make another post in one of the general boards, be my guest. Every thread should not become this argument.
The whole point of this thread is that Jeremy Lamb should have been kept instead of Roberson.
