Playoff Rotation prep

Post#1 » by DoItALL9 » Wed Nov 8, 2017 5:36 pm

Would Vince Carter be a good potential trade target for this team? He could come off the bench but also be a very good fifth option starter when need be. I'd like him at the two for Roberson in the clutch however PG13 could possibly rotate into the 2 guard if they're an exceptionally tough matchup and Vince to the 3. Vince might also be a good veteran career transition leader for Carmelo.

They're 4-6 looking at 4-8. Gotta make the playoffs first.

Let's talk about how we are going to match up against the Cavs in the Finals.

The Cavs are beating mostly good teams and losing to bad ones. We haven’t beat a good team yet and now we are starting to lose to the bad ones.

Right now I'd say the right plan would be to play 7 guys and just crumbs for Abrines and Patterson when guys are completely gassed. Plenty of opportunities to improve bench. Trade as many of the minor assets as necessary or possible for one decent vet or get a March pickup.

Ask Chicago fans if they loved watching their starters playing for 40+ minutes every game.

Should be 9 guys seriously. Felton/Patterson/Grant/Abrines coming off the bench. Don't think Huestis/Ferguson experiments are going to help.
