They actually played well and better compared to previous outings. That you still don't understand the difference is baffling.

What indicted I didnt? I'm more baffled anyone thinks them playing music has some effect

That said I didn't think that the offense was all that different. Russ made most of the pullups he has been missing. We were still pretty unable to generate open 3s.
It was the defense which fueled the offense.

It has no effect. I never said it did. I said it can be seen as indicative of overvaluing sub-par play and of trouble understanding that playing differently is required for different results.

How many long 2's did we attempt? Seemed like a lot.

110+ ORtG with Russ on the floor in every single one of the last 3 games.

Hopefully this is the start to a better stretch by him.

Only 2nd time all season we cracked 110+ ORtG with him in the game 3 times in a row.

I saw Felton take at least 4 of those, so I'd say him and Melo are the biggest culprits.

Russ and PG did a good last night of not settling, and taking the ball to the rim. It worked, so hopefully PG sticks with it.

This was fun for a change. ;)

Westbrook's finally making jumpers at a good clip, and while he still takes too many long 2s, he seems to stick to his sweet spots right around the free throw line more while before he took too many from odd angles and off balance. Not the only reason for the improvement, but certainly has played a role. Still too many possessions where he decides from the start to find George or Melo for a shot at all costs instead of making a decision based on what the defense gives him though.

Great D from the whole Thunder team.

George with the bench is still a mess, I don't get why he's so passive in these minutes.

Music is often played in a basketball locker room following wins of any kind in America. Sometimes losses. You some of you don't understand that, which is baffling/shows you never played on a high school Or college team.

I'm not even American. Of course I haven't.

But I have to give you this: Elegant way of setting up a 'you haven't played the game' argument for when facts will inevitably crap all over your takes.

Gotta admit, I turned this off in the 3rd quarter. Utah was just pathetic tonight. I know they had injuries but geez. Those guys were on the back end of a roadie and it showed.

I know you aren't American, that's why I filled you in. Music is generally always played after wins in a team locker room, and occasionally after losses.

Hell, I don't even care about what music they do or don't listen to. I just used this anecdote posted by Royce to illustrate my thesis that the team might just believe that continuing to play this way will eventually work.

If we're being honest, our half court offense was still more of the same last night. It was our defense that brought us this blowout.

That's crazy

Hopefully it's a situation where the West stayed stagnant and stumbled enough to let OKC find their style

Great game and fun to watch. Played great defense in the first and they actually played with pace in the open court, and moved the ball creating good shots in half court. Has Billy finally gotten to them?

I think that Westbrook playing better is responsible for this little hot streak. With the Thunder's style of play (AKA, ball in Westbrook's hands) they're going to go as he does. Primarily PG and Melo are the 3pt shooting for the offense with 3 none shooters in the starting lineup, and that's not been their traditional roles or strengths. Well Russell CURRENTLY is playing like an MVP. Nice to see

Outside of the Rockets and Warriors, the West sucks. I mean the Spurs, too, I guess, but the Rockets and Warriors are terrible matchups for them so I don't really include them in the "Teams that Matter" group.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:
