It seems as simple as Russ just playing better. I think a lot of us lowballed the amount of games this adjustment would take.

But these are the numbers when Russ is not playing. ;)

Without looking at the numbers it seems the main difference is felon hitting an absurd amount of jumpshots.

Edit: also I think pat's 3pt% has been rising.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Since 12/16 without Russ on the floor:

108.0 ORtG
111.6 DRtG
-3.6 NetRtG

Looking at the shooting splits:

Felton 54.5 TS% (45 % on 16+ ft. 2pt jumpers, 50 % on non-corner 3s)
Grant 54.5 TS%
Patterson 51.0 TS% (63.6 % on corner 3s, 36.8 % on non-corner 3s)
George 57.8 TS%
Ferguson (40 % on non-corner 3s)

FatP3 has been balling.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said
