I appreciate he left like a professional. But he was painful to watch.
Completely.

Honest question, and not about who's better because that's obvious but more entertaining, Melo or Semaj? Semaj may win on comedic value alone to me

Their direction was finding a pasture to turn him out on before shipping him to the glue factory.

Hmm, I'll still take Melo there. Semaj wasn't an NBA basketball player. Melo was a horrid ball stopper but he still at least looked like he belonged in a sense.

I'm looking forward to this. It's a disaster in the making.

I don't think that's fair to semaj. He was a guy who routinely tried to do the right things and just wasn't capable, not a guy who was too dumb to understand his limitations.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Man, the Rockets will be so much worse this season. They lost their 2 most impactful defenders (Ariza, Mbah a Moute) and added a guy who you need to hide on the defensive end. I think their offense will drop off significantly too.

I like and dislike Carmelo all at once. I don't think he's a bad guy, just a bit naive and oblivious. He sounds like a guy who has been the best player on the court every day of his life since childhood, and totally unaccustomed to the roles he is now being asked to play. Despite that, he seems like a cool guy who would be fun to hang out with, and I wish him as much success as possible without wishing the Rockets success also.
