Why did Bullock only play 3 minutes?

He sprained his ankle in the first quarter.

Anyway, fantastic game by the Thunder, the defense was just beautiful to watch. Credit to Donovan, he's done a great job in that area this season. The Pistons commentators were in awe of your defense the whole game.

They looked like a real team before Leverts injury.

I think this is one of Westbrook’s best defensive years. It feels like it. When you add a defensive-minded Westbrook and you have a Jerami Grant getting Melo’s minutes, that’s scary. Ferguson has also been super sneaky good on defense.

And then you have George playing minutes with second unit which has Schroder and Noel at the 1 and 5 who you could call defensive savants relative to most second unit guys they match up against. Then you have Burton providing that big body spark and Abrines is longer and bigger than a lot of second unit 2s in the league. Diallo can come in and make somebody’s life hard.

This is just a really impressive defense Presti & Donovan have put together from top to bottom.

Waited all day to finally watch the game when I got home. Holy moly it was well worth it. Excellent, excellent game. Defense was just superb and we took a big fat dump on everything the Pistons tried to do. We embarassed them on their home court.

OKC has really plugged up a few massive holes from last year's roster with the subtraction of the black hole Carmelo and the additions of Schroder and Noel. Not having Carmelo gives the team a better flow offensively and Schroder gives them another playmaker that can create his own offense at a very high level and also facilitates others very well. Noel gives them the backup center they desperately needed last year plus rebounding and shotblocking. If at some point management and Donovan finally figure out that Ferguson belongs in the G-League and that Patterson needs his minutes cut even more this team could legitimately compete for a championship this season. That game was fun to watch and the Pistons I believe had won 5 in a row and were playing really good ball. They just completely dismantled them.
