Everything fell off a cliff after that first 8 or so minutes, just one of those games I guess.

Kind of weird that Donovan randomly changed up the rotation though with PG.

So Nader was better? He hit a 3, but lost everyone defensively all night. Billy has been good this year, but he was bad tonight

Nader was better, yes. He remains painfully slow, but we have to play someone, so we're running with the guy that can hit the odd 3 - which is the rarest of all skills for a Thunder player.

It's not ideal. And I agree that Billy should have sat the starters earlier. I was pissed off when he brought Adams back in, down 23 with 6 minutes left to go. The game was gone, Billy...

Nader was a -20 in an 18 point loss. Just sayin' he was pretty awful tonight. Diallo probably woudn't have made much difference but Nader was (is?) total garbage.

Also, as to this 'he can hit a three' thing. He shot 35% last year in Boston in over 500 minutes played. In the D League the year before (over the course of 40 games down there) he shot 35%. He's shooting 35% so far this year with us. I don't think one can count on him as some sort of three point specialist and overlook all his other warts as a low to mid 30s percentage shooter.

I said Nader "can hit the odd 3" - which is hardly a ringing endorsement of his ability. He most definitely is garbage - but he's just offering a little more than Diallo is right now.

Nothing more to it than that.

Worst loss of the season, easily. You could very clearly see that if we just gave reasonable effort, we'd blow them out. But no, we somehow deicded to let them hang around. Lazy rotations and then the switching started. Excellent idea. :banghead:

Russ can **** right off with this "I'mma be horrible every other game" bull. When his shot isn't falling, this guy needs to show some shot discretion. He sucked the life out of us offensively more often than not with these trash shots he kept taking. Just stop chucking if you're not making them.

Getting outrebounded like that in the 4th quarter was just embarassing.

I don't even know what to say about Schröder anymore. I fear he's about to become a massive problem. He stopped buying into the role he should play weeks ago and has been all kinds of bad lately. Over the last 10 games he has a -15 On/Off NetRtG. And that's with playing about half his minutes next to the starters, who (Westbrook-Schröder-Grant-Adams lineup; there have been some minutes with Nader instead of George in that lineup) have been outscored by -7.6 points per 100 possessions over that stretch. Without Schröder next to them, those 3 guys have a 11.4 NetRtG over the last 10.

Something needs to change with him. Either they give him a talking to and he plays better or he needs to get traded. At least Donovan has stopped treating him like a lock for minutes lately.

I was just telling someone last night he looks checked out. His chucking is getting worse along with his defense. Its a shame, because dude had some nice moments this season when he was bought in. Ultimately it just wasn't a great acquisition by fit.

Oh yeah, lets trade one of our best players, that'll get the team going alright.

I’m not sure how anyone can defend Schroder at this point and yet.....

I missed it at the time, but he did an interview a month ago (German website) where he mentioned that Russ knows that he needs Schröder and that he had worked on his jumpshot all summer.

If Donovan reduces his minutes going forward and Schröder doesn't fall in line...that could be a huge issue. :banghead:

Schroders having a bad stretch. But he was dominant for us in November. He's in a slump right now, it happens.
