West coast is trash. Can't wait for it to be ocean.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

The longer billy has his hands on this team, the worse we look collectively and individually. Shai has gone from one of my favorite young players in the nba to a guy that somewhat annoys me with a lot of his shot selection. Regardless of what the outcome of this game is, the Dennis Schroder 1 on 5 basketball has to stop. It’s disgusting and unwatchable. I’m tempted to watch the lakers and pelicans.

Didn't I tell you? ;)
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

Billy has been handed everything. When you compare the current okc and golden state rosters, then watch how both teams play it’s so obvious. Golden state lacks talent yet they play hard and play as a team. Kerr has Eric paschall looking like a star. It’s not just the steps curry effect. Kerr knows what he’s doing.

Meanwhile billy has had multiple stars and the offense looks disjointed with all of them. This team clearly isn’t great but they play below their ability. Clearly billy uses his halftime for the team to take a power nap because they sleep walk through the third quarters. Billy was also given one of the better young prospects from last years draft. The longer he’s here, the more he struggles. Dennis does whatever he wants which is shoot like a maniac except when he throws horrible lobs. Clearly russ is declining but the issues are greater than just russ. Billy doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Last night's game was a great one for those of us on the 'don't just tank but instead tank and then fire billy' train. I think this dude has shown that he's not up to the job of managing this rebuild.

Just a snippet from Horne’s article about Billy’s disagreement with coach Dennis.

Spoiler:
Schroder and Donovan ended up having an exchange that could be considered heated from what Donovan has shown in his four seasons as Thunder coach. Donovan wasn’t the only one who was upset, as assistant coach Brian Keefe also came off the bench to alert Schroder to what Donovan wanted.

“I was trying to grab his attention because I didn’t know how serious his injury was,” Donovan explained. “He said he was fine. He told Steven he was fine.”

The conversation continued until Schroder was subbed back in during the next stoppage.

“I told him I can’t hear that conversation. I was just more worried about him health-wise,” Donovan said. “He just said, ‘I’m fine.’ I said, ‘Well, you’ve got to let me know.’ He said, ‘Well, if I’m really hurting, I’ll tell you, but I’m fine.’ I just didn’t know, so I was basically taking you off the floor because I thought you were injured. Once he was fine, I was OK with him going back in. That’s all that was.”

This game was awful. Burn the film and start over.

I wasn't able to tune into the early first quarter but the thing I noticed when I watched is the Blazers generally went on runs without Adams in the game—wasn't the greatest Nerlens game. Wasn't the greatest Adams game either but positioning was more noticeable with Nerlens.
