Where is everybody? Tough loss. :(
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

Fair or unfair, there just isn’t much interest in this team. I don’t really enjoy doing game threads by myself so no real point in posting.

Game breakdown is just about the same as every game. Adams has looked much better lately. Hopefully his struggles were health all health related. Go to him early, forget him afterwards. Gallo was great but needed more looks in the fourth quarter. Shai was doo doo and probably the worst decision making game I’ve seen so far. CP3 waited too long to get involved. Ferguson doesn’t appear to have made any progress since last year. Ten days until trade options open up.

Well I enjoy your posts especially if I'm not able to see some games. I understand the lack of interest but hopefully once they are back in the playoff race the interest will pick up on this board. I read it everyday. :)

May have been Adams best game this season.

Hell no

Think the interest will pick up when we will have 2 or 3 more young players next year.

I enjoy watching Gallo and CP3 but also wish our rookies could play more (I hate Schroeder so much omg wish he wasn't playing)

It seems like a lot of people are more of fans of a particular player than a franchise. When Westbrook got traded, a lot of posters lots interest. There’s one guy who changed his name that was affiliated with the thunder and now has a completely different team avatar. I assume you are here for your interest in Gallo more than okc, and when he leaves you likely will too. Nothing wrong with that at all.

For fans of the franchise, it’s hard to get too excited about this group. It’s not because Gallo and cp3 aren’t nice players but the fans know they are a stop gap. No sense in getting emotionally invested in a player that will likely be gone in maybe as soon as two weeks. If Shai we’re still playing well I think some of the franchise fans would be a little more excited.

Well I do think a playoff race will bring more interest even if that interest is some people rooting against them making the playoffs for various reasons. :)

Yes my main interest is Gallo as my favorite current player. Then SGA since I rooted for them both all last season as Clippers. I'd also like this to be a CP3 redemption season after he was basically tossed away.

I totally understand we have different hopes and point of view. It would be ironic if I ended up the only poster here rooting for OKC in the playoffs. In general I just believe you play to win. I have had a heard time with teams in multiple sports tanking for years. I do not think OKC is tanking. Just not very good yet.

Will I end up the only poster on the OKC board? :D

I think the perception of tanking varies based on how you actually view the art of tanking. A GM collecting assets and ridding of the team of high quality veteran talent is not only tanking, but it is doing his job if his team is incapable of winning in the playoffs. The players should always be playing to win and the coach should always be coaching to win. I support "tanking" because I can separate the jobs of each person to see it where tanking works with each person doing their job.

OKC is better at tanking right now then most because they have a coach that holds down the team. It isn't that Donovan doesn't try, but he is incompetent. This actually allows a higher talent threshold for Presti without increasing wins. If OKC had a competent coach they would be winning more which would be bad for tanking. Donovan will be gone after this season and maybe even after Gallo and CP3 are gone as the youth won't win much at all without those two.

There is no doubt tanking has worked for some teams (not many). I just can't ever do it. Its not my personality. Some might say I'd rather beat my head against a brick wall than go around it. Tanking may be working smarter but I'm just not that smart. :D
