Getting the absolute brakes beat off of us at home by the 10-18 Bulls.

I'm afraid that by the time we trade everyone away so we can truly tank, it won't matter. Right now, this team has 38-44 and the 13th pick written all over it.

55-29? What did I miss?

Oh well I want us to tank so I don't care about losing but getting killed by the Bulls like that....

CP3 looked washed in the first games of the season but damn he's playing some crazy basketball right now.

We need him to play like this next year in the beginning of the 2020-2021 season in order to trade him.

Hell of a comeback, I guess.

Still don't know how I truly feel when this team wins games. At the end of the day, a 38-42 win season and 7th-10th in the West is treadmill hell.

Yep I enjoyed the 4th quarter and CP3 playing out of his mind but I'm starting to think that we may make the playoffs (and I'm not happy about it). Think best case scenario is that we will trade Gallo for a late FRP. CP3 will stay and Adams probably too. I wanted us to have a good position in the draft but seems unlikely now...

Yep. After the top 6 teams in the West, everyone else pretty much sucks. Right now, the two worst teams in the West (Warriors and Pelicans), were teams most people had pegged in the 7-9 range, but injuries have done them in and they're in full-blown tank mode. And of course the Blazers have been a huge disappointment. I thought we'd be, at best, the 10th best team in the West but because of how garbage 7-15 are, finishing 7th, a 1st round beat down, and a the 15th-ish pick seems to be the most likely scenario.

And teams that could use Gallo (like Portland) are struggling so they may pass on giving him a FRP while others that could make some desperate move to get CP3 (Miami) are overperforming. And no team in real need for Adams right now.

Oh well. Guess we will start the real tank next year. At least we can watch some decent basketball this season

All players have good and bad games. Young guys have them even more often. That being said, I jut don’t see it with Shai anymore. I don’t see anything that looks like it could lead to being elite at any particular skill- shooting, scoring, passing, defense, etc. I wouldn’t mind seeing him run the point more because I don’t like him as a sg. He plays a lot like Dennis. Lots of iso plays, poor forced shots and he doesn’t trust his three. He shot a running floater from the foul line in the Denver game when he had a wide open path to the basket. It’s ok to not take the hardest shot you can create. If this wasn’t such a weak draft I would consider moving him to move up in the draft.

If anyone remembers the movie multiplicity, the final clone was a bit off, to put it nicely. That’s what Darius Bazley looks like on the court if he were cloned from Ferguson who hasn’t set the bar too high himself. Again I know he’s young but he screwed up literally every time he touched the ball in the first half. I’m hope I’m wrong about all of these young guys but between Ferguson, Diallo, Bazley and Dort, I’m getting tired of the same player deficiencies in all of these guys.

On a positive note, Gallo was great in the first half and Paul was fun in the second. We got some favorable calls too.

Feel the same. He has some nice offensive moves when he has the ball in his hands. Other than that...pretty disappointed.

We focus a lot about finding CP3 a new home but if we can get rid of Schroeder to allow SGA to play at the point guard position more minutes, it would help. Somehow Presti & Donovan love Schroeder but I would be happy to move Schroeder (for some small negative value in return) if it means more minutes for SGA as a PG.

Isn't that how basically every point guard has played under Billy Donovan? Hell, even Raymond Felton was out there isoing the hell out of possessions.

To me it sounds like the kid has gotten worse as the season went along and is in need of guidance and structure. Not something Donovan is going to provide.

If we make the playoffs I'm afraid they give him a multi year extension.

This team showed some real heart last night. The Bulls recently beat the Clippers. They are not a layup. Huge props to CP3. I think he is wanting this team in the playoffs for sure. I know Schroder has his detractors but he is giving some much needed points. If they can pick up a rebounder cheap or on waivers this team could make the playoffs!

(I said that while ducking all the shoes that will be thrown at me) :D
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D
