I really don’t understand the point in giving burton minutes over Dort. Dort is probably better now and actually has a future in the league.

I really like Chris Fisher. He’s exactly what I want in a local broadcast announcer.

At some point if we want to be serious about being a legit playoff team, we have to stop with these games where we fall behind by 10-15 to bad teams.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Yeah, this one is over. No way we erase another 10-15 point fourth quarter deficit. This team still kinda sucks.

I mean this is a bad Grizzlies team. For the second time in, like, 2 weeks, we're down big to them late in the game. Can't see us erasing another double digit deficit against them in the 4th quarter.

In the event we do blow this thing up at the deadline, every loss helps. We need some elite young talent on this roster. Watching JJJ and JA is a reminder of what this team is lacking.

Absolutely. If someone asked me right now, I'd rather be in the Grizzlies current situation with Morant and JJJ than our current situation. Especially since the Grizzlies are on their way to another top 5ish pick.

Brutal to lose to them today.

With the lottery now it’s hard to say if they would get a top 5 pick. You have no idea who could move up or how bad some of these teams will get. The C’s get there pick if it’s 7 or above.

JJJ and Ja are a nice building blocks and Clark didn’t miss a shot until the 4th q. But, they are in dire need of wings. They are losing their first round pick either this year or next year, they are getting one back in a first from Utah but it has some weird protections on it so they probably won’t get it until 2022. So they really don’t have another way to add another guy other than taking on bad salary.

I rather be in OKC’s shoes with SGA, 15 draft picks, two established 26 year olds (Schröder & Adams) and a couple of young interesting wings in Ferg and Diallo.

I do not think OKC sucks or is great. I think their margin of error to win games is small so its not shocking for them to lose if missing some guys from their lineup. Even the 1986 Celtics lost a game at home. OKC may not be as good as the 86 Celtics but I still have hope! :D
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D
