Teams that haven’t been to the playoffs for a long time but are desperate like Phoenix or Minnesota. Miami and Denver makes sense too. He could work in Milwaukee. Other teams like Dallas, LA teams as Philly could use him but it’s pretty complicated to make it work.

Milwaukee makes sense but they need to give up probably Hill and Ilyasova. I think they would probably prefer to keep hill.

Feel like it's going to be way more difficult than we thought to trade Gallo. Portland won't give up a 1st for him (they are far from contending, Melo is doing ''ok'' and Hood got injured). Could see the Lakers having some interest but they can't trade/don't have any FRP I think!?

Lakers don’t have the matching salary w/o depleting their bench.

Portland is in such a weird situation. They might just have to take an L this year.

Teams like the Wolves, Spurs, Suns, Jazz, & Kings will all have interest in Gallo. That group is fighting for the bottom spots in the western conference. Getting Gallo in a trade effectively gets the Thunder out of their way. I think they will get a first. If not, look for the Thunder to keep him. They can sign and trade him in the offseason, since the Thunder will have a payroll under the tax and would be willing to get hard capped if it makes sense.

Nah OKC will have Noel early bird rights next summer. So he can get a much bigger contract (league average salary I believe for starting salary). I bet OKC gives it to him as well (Dwight Powell type deal). Noel’s never gotten paid. Anywhere else he’s back in the same situation he’s in this year.

I’m not sure what to think about Gordon. If he takes the post magic jump that many players have done then maybe, but as constructed I’m not sure I’d jump at this offer

I"m curious what teams are interested in sending back long term deals? Wiggins kind isn't trash so Minny might want to keep him. Are we going to get John Wall? Mike Conley? Tim Hardaway jr? Most of the bad contracts out there aren't more than two years except yours' truly, CP3.

The trade deadline is about two months away.

The frustration among Hawks ownership, the front office and players should not come as much of a surprise because of the losses that have been piling up and postgame flare-ups are far from abnormal.

To be fair, Atlanta (6-17) has been without John Collins due to a 25-game performance-enhancing drug suspension and had Kevin Huerter on a minutes restriction to start the season before he missed time with a shoulder injury. Those are two key pieces in the Hawks’ rotation that have been missing. The team could look to replenish their lack of veteran presence on the roster prior to the trade deadline.
