And we end the quarter with a stupid foul on the fastbreak where Gary Harris makes the layup but misses the and-one FT, then Durant lazily goes for the rebound and lets Arthur take the ball from him, which of course led to Barton making a runner to end the quarter to give the Nuggets a four point possession to end the first quarter to cut our lead to one.

Waiters
Collison
Kanter

We're scoreless 2+ minutes into the quarter and we have no one out there big enough to even sorta kinda bother Will Barton.

The lack of energy and attention to detail 30 games into the season really bothers me. Something has to change, mentally, in the Thunder's locker room. Maybe I'm overreacting. Maybe a little? It's the Holiday Hangover, I'm sure, but the number of mistakes I see and the lackadaiscal play by some of our vets at times just really makes me question their hunger for a ring.

Notes from 1st quarter:

Low energy on defense. That should be the emphasis right now.
I would have loved to see more small ball versus that DEN starting line up. (Durant/Ibaka better than Ibaka/Adams vs. Faried/Jokic)
Westbrook was having his way getting to rim and in the post. Keep doing that.
Nelson still showing he can knock down the 3.
Barton showing off his skills. Perfect at 2 for us but that's a pipedream.
Stupid foul by Collison pushing a guy already in the air for a layup.
Nice job getting to the rim and staying with his miss by Waiters.
Who left Barton WIDE open for 3?

Augustin needs to not be in at the same time with Cam. He isn't going to give up the ball.

Payne already has more assists than Waiters and DJ combined.

What is Ibaka doing? He is coming out so flat offensively and defensively. Settles for the fadeaway 2. Gets the ball deep in the post, throws it back out. Uneccessarily shoving guys in the back. No challenge on the Arthur 3. Ugh. Sometimes I think he is overrated.

KD settling for 3 and missing leads to mismatches on defense in transition which leads to Barton 3 on Adam.

Ugh. Our defense is making guys like Faried and Barton look like all stars. How about we just throw Barton on Robes Island? Barton sits, Robes sits. Barton is out there, Robes is out there.

Honestly, bench Ibaka and throw Kanter in there. I mean, damn, at least Kanter is hustling. Ibaka looks hungover and like he doesn't want to play tonight. Our defense is atrocious. Might as well throw in an offensive beast.

Ibaka is 6 of 7 for 13 points, Durant is the one looking like he doesn't want to play.

I'm glad Cam is getting playing time, but at the expense of Morrow? Can Donovan not see DJ and DIon are the problem?
