Looked promising last year but has been crap this year. He was the best player in Orlando summer league but missed 3 months with a foot fracture. Since coming back he's been passive and unwilling to attack offensively, hasn't been able to hit open shots ( and refuses to shoot them sometimes), and was always a terrible defender. A huge part of his problem is confidence, he's played well when matched up with other young backups but shuts down against real NBA players. I think there's a good chance he regains his confidence over the summer and shows why he was a lottery pick, but I wouldn't be totally shocked if his confidence remains shot and he's out of the league in a year or two.

Appreciate the feedback.

I think the Bulls got finessed in this deal but he's in his 2nd year so maybe he turns into a quality player, but I haven't seen anything from him to project him as a starter on a good team.

Enjoy Taj, he's gonna give you guys everything he's got.

great dancer, beautiful to watch, high basketball IQ & good self-confidence

F*ck

I still have hope for Cam, he was hurt to start the year and showed a ton of potential last season. The bench literally turned when he replaced Augustin. I think he's gonna still be a solid bench PG.

Payne would be a great complementary piece.. as the dancing sidekick of a villain.

I actually don't think it's a bad move for Chicago. Took a shot on a buy low guy.

I am so glad that it doesn't always have to be Presti doing this type of s**t.

He was injured for most of the season, can't e or r too much. We don't wanna be like the Kings and wait for a better offer that probably won't come

I don't why anybody would think Kanter would be traded when he just got cleared to play

That's the exact reason he would be traded. Every player on any team should be eligible be traded if you can get an upgrade. Kanter is a great offensive talent but he'll always be behind Adams. Therefore he'll be in discussion for trade talks.

So, how does the rotation look like now?

Westbrook/Christon
Oladipo/Abrines
Roberson/McDermott
Gibson/Sabonis
Adams/Kanter

idk, maybe Grant should be playing instead of McDermott or Sabonis, otherwise bench defense looks really bad.

What do you think?

Gibson will come off the bench to assist w/ the defense from Kanter and McBuckets.

Pretty sure he'll start.

Where are the minutes for Grant now?

My concern as well. Gibson is an expiring though correct?

Taj will definitely start. Would be surprised to see him come off of the bench. Roberson goes back to 20 minutes and Grant gets his 18 in while McDermott gets 10ish? Donovan will switch it up on a match up basis I'm sure.

If we can get Williams, that would be sweet, but he will sign with Cavs I'm sure.

Edit: Can the Cavs sign him? Can we sign him? We do have an open roster spot now.

Sabonis is a better defender than grant. Grant is just a better shot blocker.

They are relatively the same to me. I'd give the slight edge to Grant because of his length and side to side quickness. Sabonis is a smart defender but is limited because of his lack of length and t-Rex arms.
