This is too much for me. His favorite team is OKC, he's friend with SGA, same agent as SGA/Dort/Westbrook, we badly need a talented big like him. Just pay the price Presti. Gonna hate Cleveland rrrrrrrrrr

In the same interview they asked him his favorite place to go when he needs a heat lamp snack and a shower…

I'm kind of losing respect to a lot of reporters from The Athletic. Listening to Chad ford with "Tony Jones" and his takes on SGA are so bad. You can like a player more or less but they are beyond stupid.

It’s probably an overreaction on my part but when I listen to experts and they can’t even pronounce the names, it’s drives me crazy. Tony Jones was butchering multiple player name in a podcast I listened to a week or so ago.

Ok if Mobley is a Thunder fan we HAVE TO GET HIM. We have all of the picks in the world to make it happen without moving SGA. Make it happen Presti. Cleveland is in a full blown rebuild they need our picks. They don't have a player like SGA to build around.

I'm basically in love with Bouknight at this point but if we have to trade #6 to get Mobley it has to be done.

Let me send you some screenshots of Tony Jones and his insight into what the Jazz should do in the draft/offseason. It’s truly riveting stuff

Read on Twitter
?s=21

First he says the Jazz are looking for long, athletic, can defend multiple positions, and shoot….

Breaking news….so is EVERY other team.

He then follows it up with saying it wouldn’t shock him if the Jazz make the pick or wait for it…..trade the pick….

Breaking news…. Every other team that has a pick will either make the pick or trade the pick.

Imagine paying a guy full time to write stuff like this….

Sometimes you need to overpay and take the gamble. We have 12 FRPs from other teams until 2016 + 3 pick swaps. If we have to pay 4 FRPs, so be it. It's an overpay but maybe the only way to get him so we can build around SGA & Mobley.

Mobley being a Thunder fan and having the same agent as WB/SGA makes it really easier for Presti (communication is key). It may end up being ugly if Mobley doesn't develop in the player we think he can be but we can afford the gamble.

Well if Cleveland says no to #6 + 4 FRPs (that's A LOT), there's not much we can do.

Couldn't agree more. We can't use all of those picks anyway. I feel like this is exactly why Presti accumulated all of them.

Trade up for Mobley, flip Kemba to Dallas for Porzingis and we got a squad.

I really don’t want KP on this team. I’d rather Kemba go to the Knicks for essentially their cap space or some sort of deal that the Lakers are considering for Russ.

I’m sick of rumors. I’ve learned nothing new and heard no credible rumors in the last 24 hours. This is getting old. I’m looking forward to tomorrow but ready for this to be over with.

How much you wanna bet at the end of the day we end up with like Barnes or Kuminga, some of the mid-range prospects like Kai Jones or Shariff Cooper and trade pick 18 for a future first or something? And then all the stories will trickle out later that Presti tried and failed to move up.

I think it’s possible and I’m fine with that. Feeling good/bad on draft night only means so much. Like I said before, we have the assets to get who we want. If Presti doesn’t feel Mobley is worth 9 first round picks, I’m ok with that.

With how deep this particular draft is, I’d be surprised to see them trade 18 for a future pick.

pretty much this. I also don't mind if we keep 16 & 18 since good players gonna be there (if we aren't able to move up with #6 & picks)

Just hang in there. there’s like 24-30 hrs until the draft and draft reviews are out and all in 48-72 hours for you to watch more videos of our picks and evaluate our picks before we pivot to the trade SGA offseason from the media.

We have the assets to go after Mobley, it will just depend on how much Cleveland value him. Having Jarret Allen on their roster should play into our favour as it was reported all season Cleveland want to secure him long term.
