ask yourself why nash is so horrible on defense. he does have some instincts but his footwork is really bad.

how do you know he will be tougher than livingston? i dont see what you have to by there?

With chandler deal falling apart the player that makes the most sence to draft is THABEET.. yes knowing the past with the million of big long centers that have floped however thabeet can be very useful by playing at a major school and faceing major players. this is a major difference with all the others centers we have gone through

I do not think Harden is the guy
You have to go big now
Thabeet or Monroe or Hill
In that order

Let me tell you a little something about terrence williams.

He is a trouble-making headcase.

I personally know people in seattle that have played with him and this guy is a total disgrace as a human being. He also had one, possibly 2 "baby mamas" when he was in high school.

I also know for a fact that he has been a trouble maker in Louisville, constantly making trouble in nightclubs and getting routinely kicked out for being a menace.

Don't bring this nut anywhere near the Thunder.

Considering the Thunder went after Chandler for defensive purposes like rebounding and shot blocks. I think this draft it would make sense to go after Thabeet. He possesses those skills and doesn't need the ball in his hands to be dominant on the offensive end every game night.

I want to quote this post of mine for emphasis for ANYONE entertaining the idea of Terence Williams.

Just a heads up UCONN is playing Pitt on Saturday March 7th at 12:00 EST on CBS.

That's 9:00am on the Best coast.

Last time at UCONN, Thabeet had his lunch eatin' by DeJuan Blair.

I'm curious to see how Thabeet bounces back. Both these guys are going to be lottery picks so it's nice to see head to head match ups.

That is one of my biggest concerns with Griffin. Sure his numbers are huge, but what big man has he played against this year that is going to be a top ten draft pick?

And then for the fans that live in Washington, The Cougs will be playing at the Dawgs house at 2:30pm on PST.

I know the Dawg's are top of the pack in the pac-10 but the Cougs have really put it together the last couple of weeks with wins over UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State. This should be a great in state showdown.

A win by the Cougs could very well lead to a NCAA tournament bid.

Arizona, USC, and the Cougs are all sitting at 8-9 in conference play. All the college talking heads have said the Pac-10 will get 5 bids to the Big Dance. A win over the Pac-10 leaders on the Dawgs floor would be a huge win.

Assuming UofW, UCLA, Cal, and ASU all get a ticket to the Big Dance that leaves one last ticket for one of the three teams sitting at 8-9.

Can Taylor do this again?

I like the first one best because you can hear the fans go nuts.

I would hope they get in
But I think they need to do a lot of work in the pac10 tourney
Everyone watch out for the 2011 draft

Well I just got done watching the UConn vs Pitt game. Pitt won the game but Thabeet looked pretty good.

He has a decent little right handed hook. So he isn't completely (Please Use More Appropriate Word) on offense.

But bottom line he is a shot eraser.

He put up
14pts, 13rebs, and 5 blocks.

The 13 rebounds are nice but honestly I didn't really see him out work anyone for 'em. A lot of them were simply caroms that were going his direction. So I would have liked to have seen him muscle his way in for a few more rebounds. I did like the fact that he and DeJaun Blair were almost in a scrap. At least the kid isn't soft.

BUT what did impress me, not only did he have the 5 blocks but he changed numerous shots or simply forced a guy into a pass because the guy didn't want to get roofed by Thabeet.

Pitt's PG Fields drove into the lane a few times and found himself staring eye to eye with Thabeet's belly button and passed out of the lane to someone else for the jumper.

Thabeet didn't alter those shots, he completely changed the shot from a floater in the lane to an 18 foot jump shot or a 15ft jump shot by Blair.

The kids still needs to improve in all aspects of the game but considering the kid has only been playing for four years and has grown a ton I'd say he still is capable of still improving a great deal.

Couple news on Ricky:

1.- He has been recently named DPOY 2008. Its the first time this award is being given.

2.- His father talking to Tubasket.com:

“Sería posible que se marchase si fuese top 3 del draft, es cuestión de hacer números. Será una decisión consensuada, pero depende de Ricky. Es un privilegiado por la cabeza que tiene. Nos escucha a todos, y luego ya decidirá”.

Esteve Rubio
Padre de Ricky Rubio

"It would be possible for him to go if he is a TOP-3, it's a matter of numbers (money). It's a decision that we will all take toguether, but it depends on Ricky. He is a very wise man. He will listen to all of us, and then he will decide"

Ricky Rubio's father.
