And yet not a ton of big name stuff happening today.

Maybe. To me it feels like a 3 team race with the lakers, clippers, and the nets. And no big superstars have been pushing for a trade.

Wonder how much flexibility is in the "deadline" here?

All they have to do is ask the league for an extension. It seems like one or two trades happen that way every year.

I think it somewhat depends on how you do your paperwork.

Maybe oladipo is toast, but if he isn’t, he’s a really good fit there.

I still don’t think Vic to Miami moves the needs to much for either team. Miami not getting Lowry and Toronto keeping him was best for us.

Wow that’s horrible for houston.

he isn't worth what he wants this offseason but he's still a very good player. Not good for us.

So did Toronto play hardball and get burnt? It felt like with the Powell trade they were going for a straight up rebuild. Strange.

Outside chance Olynyk helps Houston a bit. Maybe gets them out of the bottom 4?

'We're not trading Oladipo for anything but a 1st and a young player' was a horrible bluff from the Rockets. Olynyk might actually help though if they put him next to Wood.

Good grief Houston. Why not just keep Levert?

“Very good” might be a stretch. His defense isn’t what it was and his TS% has been the worst of his career the last two years. I think Spo will get the most out of him. I’m happy Miami didn’t get Lowry.

Seems like it. How is this better than getting an asset?
