There's a diff between not a max guy and a guy you trade. Look at the on/off defensive numbers.

This. And Frankly, I'm completely prepared for us to give him a max contract to reward him for taking the 12 mill per year last time. And I'm completely okay with it. Classic worth more to us than to you scenario.

Yeah he's been a bit underpaid, he and Russ both will max out (I think Russ took a little less last time). Gonna be a ton of cash hopefully.

I was half-way joking abou the trade thread but I have to ask this in all seriousness: Is it better to pay Serge the max or bring in a decent PF and another rotation player for the same money Serge would be making is making?

They'll be over the cap, so its either Serge or a guy making the vet min. And even if it wasn't still Serge.

Thunder are finally on a roll. 23-10 with the 3rd seed, I still only think the real threat is going to be GSW. As I said before, it was only a matter of time before they start to go on a winning streak.

Defense and rebounds, defense and rebounds. We've been really bad on the defensive glass this last few weeks. Going from 7th in November to 19th in December (Adjusted DREB Chance %). Playing solid defense doesn't mean **** if you give up that many rebounds. And man, what on earth is happening with our defense against guards? We've been lit up by Middleton and Warren these past two games - Durant is embarassing himself with that kind of effort.

Oh and if Singler can play like that, I'd play him instead of Waiters. Dion once again was atrocious, but Singler at least plays solid defense (believe it or not, DRPM has him as the 11th best SF this season). Dion needs to go and soon. He is so bad it's unbelievable. He single-handedly screwed up at least 10 possessions both offensively and defensively. Hopefully this will make people understand that he sucks so bad on both ends of the floor. Just because it looks like he's trying doesn't mean his contributing. Get rid of him.

I actually thought that was one of Dion's better games. That said the bar is incredibly low and he shot 3-6. Plus I liked he passed to Cam on a fast break to give him a free dunk/layup.

I think he was horrible as usual. For every good play, he kills the team 5 times over. It just doesn't work.

Hornets just keep kinda sorta hanging around.

So much fouls, can never have a clean good game.

Always have to act dumb in some part of the game.

It was Serge that time, but Kemba has made KD his ***** this quarter.

Box score shows cam with no assists. He had at least one and I thought it was two. Help the rookie out.

The second quarter was a FT shooting contest.

Looking at the stats...how are we not winning by 20? That's worrisome.
