Just to put Austin Rivers 32 points in context- Dion's career high is 33. These guys are NBA players and if you play bad defense they can all score. He may have hit a few surprise shots, but getting good looks makes the tough ones seem easier.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yall complain that people rest stars and you don't get to see the best vs the best but then when one team decides to make the game interesting and want to work on their late game playbook, you guys still complain

Well how about that. I don't know what's more ridiculous: Me getting banned for being insulted by Detroit fans or our defense last night. You decide.

-----------------------------------

On a related note: I looked at all the players that played at least 1900 minutes in a season over the last 5 years. I came up with 702 players. This is where Dion's current season ranks:

658th in TS%
694th in PER
668th IN BPM
657th in WS/48
664th in VORP

Go Dion.

Okc... We was bored last night and decided to play around.. Yall worry too much. That is not the team thats going to show up in the playoffs, the team you seen against Toronto and Boston is the team you will see. They got the third seed locked up, playoffs are almost here, theyre not about to try hard

Of course they didn't care all too much, but still. If you don't care, give your young guys a chance, not send them to the frigging D-League to play a completly meaningless game.

This is the time to give the bench all the minutes it can handle. But hey, let's just play our no-pg-lineup; that has worked everytime, right?

Apparently I missed this in Royce's article:

Durant has resisted talking much about his future, but amid growing speculation he's interested in returning to the area in which he grew up, he deflected questions about Washington, D.C., when the Thunder visited the Wizards in January.

"I love playing for Oklahoma City, man. There's just a certain level of pride that I have when I play with that Oklahoma City on my chest," he said then. "So that's the only thing I'm focused on. Everybody knows that I represent where I come from that no matter where I play at, no matter what arena. But I'm just focused on playing with Oklahoma City. It feels like home now. That's where I am."

I can't believe Adams is only 22.....

It's incredible.

Wish he would rebound better though.

Its crazy right? How can a team that clearly is focused on just getting into the playoffs healthy, and that cant move up or down in the standings not bring max effort on D? I used to post on here, but its really not worth it unless you want to criticize a 55 win team constantly (they are good guys, sorry), and praise everything roberson and cam payne do. Otherwise the clique gangs on you for the most part. I dont know how it is enjoyable to be a fan of a team, and a good one, and hate everything about them. Seems most on here would be better suited changing favorite teams. Maybe the warriors would be better for them they have a really good record. Lets go thunder, looking good to make noise in the playoffs, nobody gonna want to play them with kd and Westbrook on the floor 40 min a night!

I'm having fun tbh :D.

Honestly, I wouldn't take them over GSW, that's just me being honest. I give em a shot vs. the Spurs. Everyone else I'd feel pretty good going into a series against. They're locking in late season and in time for the playoffs. Last night was kinda gross, but it was against a bench and they pretty clearly weren't locked in. Just end the RS healthy right now.

Im in total agreement with you for once! Yea GS is gonna be be extremely tough if okc can get by the spurs which I think is about 50/50. Warriors haven't really been tested in a playoff series vs a legit team curious to see how they handle it. Uptick in minutes for kd/wb should fix rotation problems to an extent, as the starting group in on a GS level

That's pretty much where I am, I would give an edge to the Spurs though (not 50/50, maybe 60/40 or 70/30) but I definitely think it would be a tight series. OKC always gives them trouble. GSW is a machine, I'd rather avoid them as long as possible and hope for the best, either way it will be fun (and probably stressful lol).

I forced myself to watch last night. Yeah, they got some good looks, and Jamal has a game every now and then like that where he hits shots with you inside his jersey, but Rivers going off like that will basically never happen. They Ewing-theoried the heck out of that game. I'm not worried.

That being said, the rotations on defense were sluggish at best, and they might have missed 1 or 2 if Russ had been more locked in. I saw a lot of him forcing guys to switch because he was dying on screens.
